  1. I REALLY like that!
  2. Nice looking models, specially the Camaro.
  3. I LOVE that 60 Ford!
  4. A beautiful collection, so clean and precise and all with stunning paint jobs. Looking forward to more Fords in 2018.
  5. Incredible variety and all very nicely done. You'd think each one had come from a different builder with different interests.
  6. I gather you had lots of other stuff happening in your life so this rare and beautifully built Pontiac is a real achievement. I'm looking forward to that '67 in the new year.
  7. Glad someone did even less than I did.
  8. Beautiful - and, as others have said, I would never have guessed that you'd started with a glue bomb. I've posted a couple of models that lacked vent windows. There can be various reasons for doing that and if you don't mention it, nobody notices.
  9. Beautifully done, pure nostalgia.
  10. Nice - and I also like the bad-boy look.
  11. Me too - very well written.
  12. A. I personally like the "My Year in Review" posts for various reasons. That new models get pushed to page 2 or 3 isn't so tragic: it's not so difficult to go there, make a comment and put it on page 1 again. B. The word "build" is more specific than "model", quicker and easier than "built model car" and it is perfectly clear to everyone what is meant. There are MANY words that have developed a double life as verb and noun (speed, race etc). Languages will continue to evolve, like it or not. C. But I'm totally with you on quoting 10 photos just to add a few words. I guess some people don't know how to quote a portion of a post.
  13. I built this one from the most recent issue. Nearly everything had to be modified to fit. Hosted on Fotki
  14. Last year I bought some very nice Ixo 1.24th motorbikes, including this Honda Gold Wing. I dropped the Honda on the floor (as you do) and it disassembled itself, freeing the front wheel. I'd only paid $14 with postage so I ordered another one, the bike in the 2nd pic. It then occurred to me that these wheels would look better on my Revell Outlaw than the kit items. Unfortunately, the back wheel is different, as it is on the prototype. But if I ever get round to building the Outlaw I will drop the 2nd Honda on the floor and have a matching pair! (The Ebbro box has nothing to do with this and the Chevy is there to show scale. And no, I'm not really suggesting this as a sensible solution.) Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  15. Very impressive.
  16. Coming along very nicely Samuel.
  17. Very nice! My favourite build of this kit so far.
  18. Does this mean there is no longer any need to post via Fotki/Photobucket etc?
  19. Nice work!
  20. VERY creative modelling and a beautiful result.
  21. Enjoying this thread, specially Tulio's story. We have two cats and, like all the humans I know, they have absolutely no interest in model cars. In fact both species tend to avoid my work room as if it were some kind of embarrassment.
  22. I like it too!
  23. Nice looking model and a smart move swapping the wheels.
  24. I've often wondered if this car was named after the small-ish New Zealand town of Levin. Sounds unlikely - but in the 50s and early 60s there was a race track there which was part of the annual Formula 1 Grand Prix tour.
