And the smallest are the most intense...I've had Yorkies, West Highland White Terriers, Australian Terriers, Silkys, and Cairns...my 6lb Yorkie girl is the biggest diva...
-
Terriers are very determined and stubborn..part of why I like them so much..

Yeah, I liked Hobby Depot..that was my regular for years when I lived in the Valley of the Sun. Used to go there at least once month, esp. when I was working in Tempe and Chandler.
-
That was a good movie IIRC...

Fascinating...never thought about the length of a paper money bill.

Yes, the Rolling Thunder kit is what I was thinking of.

The majority of time I have no issues w/ my local USPS. Except when once in a while they deliver packages to the wrong house..there is a house 2 streets over from me with the same house number and a very similar street name. And there is a house down my street with an almost identical house number except for one digit. I get their mail and vice versa once in a while. Or the previous owners of my house, I've been here almost 5 years but still get their mail on occasion... Amazon, UPS, and FedEx have foul ups on occasion also.

Round 2 December Spotlight?
Rob Hall replied to Michael in Illinois's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I bet Round 2 will do a Rat Fink '59 Cadillac ambulance eventually, since they have the license and have already done one in diecast (a Johnny Lightning Rat Fink '59 Cadillac ambulance was made in 1/64th). -
The mail joyride I've noticed on more than one occasion is packages from a certain model car vendor in the Atlanta area seem to often route through Rancho Cucamonga, Ca on the way to the Cleveland, Ohio area...

I have all of the MPC 1/25th Chevys and GMCs of that era in my stash except for the Super Dually (wish they had made a stock dually) and also have several of the reissues...I seem to remember there was a custom pickup w/ a big rig look, or was that the earlier style cab..

1/25 AMT Surf Shark 1959 Cadillac Ambulance
Rob Hall replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Nice, looks like they removed the holes and tabs that were on the Ghostbusters version and added new holes in the roof. -

Rob Hall replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The one I have has separate fins and moon caps (one piece wheels), and says AMT on the box. I have the original AMT issue in storage, so can't compare them...never had the PL one. -
Mail delivery was unusually late yesterday---got only the packages delivered about 8:30pm, paper mail didn't get delivered. Must have had a rough Monday. Amazon delivery was even later.

1/25 AMT Surf Shark 1959 Cadillac Ambulance
Rob Hall replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Maybe, the holes are towards the middle of the roof, though...and there are many other holes and tabs on the roof...the surf rack might use the same tabs that the ECTO-1A gear rack did. There are holes and a mounting plate on the left rear quarter that would need smoothed and filled in also. -

I wonder if they have cleaned up the body and filled in the various holes for mounting the Ghostbusters gear. iIRC, they were cast open… -
I'm sure it will be the same old, same old MPC tool w/ the new front end parts and wheels from the recent James Bond release....from the box art, it looks like it will finally get full '71 Mach 1 style decals. I don't think the AMT or MPC '71-73 kits ever had a flat hood option.

1/24 Heller Renault Estafette
Rob Hall replied to The Creative Explorer's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
That reminds of how Heller does interior door panels on some kits---clear pieces w/ the window molded as part of the inner door panel. -

Interesting...from the box art, it looks like the police one is a window van while the other is a panel van. So they have inserts for the window openings? -
The chassis is quite primitive as is the engine, but they do have the newly tooled bodies. Should make a good shelf model. Much seems the same between both kits, differing in the body and trim (different year) and the decals...

Beautiful build. Love the color, I have a vintage Matchbox E-Type in a similar color.

It's not on their YouTube channel. Nothing posted in a month. May be late...
