  1. Guess this kills any value my original non mint kit had..... Time to swap in a pro stock chassis.
  2. It looks right. a lot of what I see are too pristine to be replicas of that era. You've captured it well.
  3. Count me in on the ready to order if I can afford it list.
  4. Will you not mix real car photos with your model photos! Seriously the interior shoots look very realistic. Great job!
  5. This is a great build....can you share the source of your references? I've got a '67 Charger I started that's in the box. How close are your details accurate for a car three years older? Thanks, Mike
  6. Hmmm......I wonder if someone was behind in payments.
  7. I soooooo want the new GTO. Sadly finances won't allow it right now. I'm sure once I can pay today's prices, tomorrow's will be much higher. These will have to be a major collector's item.
  8. Okay.....don't tease. Details please! Looks great. Where did the body come from?
  9. Add me down to the interested watching group.
  10. I've seen toys of this one back in the 70's. Always thought it was simply some really bad Japanese toy designers fantasy. Mike
  11. That is sweet. If it wasn't for the background, I'd swear it was the real car.
  12. Wow......the quality is really getting "there." Soon I'll have to add cad/cam drawing as a skill for model building.
  13. Just completed a trade with Jeff B, Jeff Bloomhuff. Jeff is relatively new to the forum but his communication was top-notch. The packing was well done. I recommend Jeff highly. Mike
  14. The decals for the Sox and Martin are on the same sheet as the Sox and Martin Omni. Another project I need to actually start. Mike
  15. A couple of things to throw into the mix. Most of the multiple kits are buildable with care. Glue choice is a significant decision. Most of us tried these originally with tube glue. Bad decision. I have had much better success with a liquid glue If you've ever successfully chopped a top, these are almost the same thing, possibly with better fit Most of these kits were molded with better plastic than what some manufacturers use at time. I'd much rather build one of these any day compared to the gray goo that Ertl/AMT used Nothing will make most Palmer kits buildable. Those are designed best as receptacles for fireworks such as M-80s.
  16. A GBP dragster...... We can all dream.
  17. Did someone say Sizzler.....? I can hear the cash register for two months.....and then........silence.
  18. Nice job......I'd like to see build up pics if you've got them. I'd really like to do the companion Sox and Martin truck. Mike
  19. That's scary in so many ways..... Seems right on for an early sixties drag racer.
  20. Chuck Most aka Michigan Madman deserves high praise. I accidentally left parts from another kit in a trade. He returned the extra parts (that I'd forgotten about) at his expense. THANKS!!!!
  21. Guess I ought to pull my Otaki Camaro out and see what I can trade it for.
  22. I have the Otaki kit and think it would be a great start for this car. The True Value series would seem to be a good start for either the Camaro or the Daytona. These were plastic body kits and seem pretty close to 1/24. I think a Monogram Thunderbird would be a good chassis to swap under either of these. True Value also sold an Avenger. This was a metal body kit that I can't really say much positive about. Mike
  23. That is so over the top sweet..... If you make a kit available, please PM me.
  24. I thought I could find a picture here but can't...... My ghost car..... The MPC Blue Flame. Sorry I can't find an illustration of it.
