Nothing new Concord or Matthews NC.
This dump came from Hobbico wholesale which was one of the biggest. So they have a lot of inventory. Not a reflection on who sold what...but rater how much stock a wholesaler had.
Chrome had a involuntary update this week too. Changed some of my settings....
As a retired Computer System Analyst I hate these forced updates.....Windows have it to now. You can try and block some....but not all. Leave me alone!!
Had it for a while but never got her out and took photos.......
G scale listed as 1/29 scale PCC Trolley in Philly '76 colors. I got it to display with models....close enough.
Me too!!! I live in WV now....but grew up over off Knott's @ La Palma. We'd go every week.....I'm old enough to have gone when it had no fence or gate cost. I love the steam but only go on low attendance days so we can just walk and look for parts of old Knott's. The crew spent 20 minutes showing us the Goose because no one was waiting to ride!! That's how I like it!
Here is a visit on fuzzy 8mm film about 1961 (says 62 but Dad later said he thought 61....either way)
Nice work!!! Always had a like for the old River Boats.
The river boat at Disney land is a real steam powered ship.....we went one day....a few years ago....rained all day. Took two trips on the boat
as the crew was giving us a 'tour' of the boat and how it worked. 99.99% of the folks never really think about it.
As kids we'd sneak out 'Why is there air' LP, put it in the huge console stereo and listen while our folks were gone.
The whole thing is a cluster **........Many of those involved have hands as dirty as Cosby......but that's SOP today.
These may qualify........
RGS Goose rail cars. Made from Pierce Arrow road cars, bus body and a box car. Cool at any rate.
Knott's Berry Farm has a Goose restored and runs daily.....I got a full tour on my last visit.
Rommel's, TJ Taxi, Circus Dragon Wagon are all new China tools so that makes sense. The Beer and Baja in China is kinda logical too.
The real question is how many TD molds are intact and usable??? That's what I'll wait to hear about!!!
Since the statement came from Tom Daniel about Tom Daniel I think we can assume he is referencing ONLY Tom Daniel molds/tooling.
Pretty clear I think/hope.....
That's been out for a few months. I did some consulting on that kit. The decals included can be used to build a number of different versions. The real car ran with different combinations of the style numbers and block numbers. You can also build the black, red and white version Bobby ran for a short period.
The 70's issue of the kit......decals were awful....sized wrong and incomplete...so this is the first issue that is buildable.
I use the old 90's era AMT NASCAR kits for the rear trailing arms.....you can do the same with the front suspension from those kits.
If you want to go super easy....trim off the torsion bars and add a small dia plastic rod from the lower control arm (at the ball joint) at a 45 degree angle to the lower radiator/frame support.
