  1. Thanks so much for that info. I had Clifford headers on a Dodge P/U and they were nice....did not know they had anything for 200! THX
  2. Well done! I bought a few of those kits to cut up for NASCAR modified.....but yet to build one!
  3. B-24 is a favorite of mine.....neat build! How big is it???
  4. COOL!!! What is your fuel/carb set up?? I ask as I pulled my 68 Mustang coupe from storage today. It has sat for 5 years and I need to restore or sell. It has the 2200/6 and it is in GREAT condition, less than 5K miles since a rebuild. But the carb top gaskets have failed so I need a new carb.....and they ain't cheap! I could rebuilt but I am not sure if I want to chance it. Again great looking car.....PS mine has the factory front bench seat...ever see one???
  5. Neat idea.....Maybe Leno will do that!!!
  6. Sorry to hear that...... Part of having our cats and dog is fantastic.....the other part is horrible. I did the same thing in FEB....took our Newfoundland to vet with hurt leg. Vet said snake bit...needed surgery. OK then they found she had a lung issue. We had to put her down. Doubt I'll ever have another dog....fear none would live up to Pris. Again....a sad day but you gave her a GREAT life!! all we can do.
  7. Glad it popped back up!
  8. Good lookin boy! thanks for giving him a good home!
  9. The kit shows it's age a bit in the fit dept. But I am a AMC guy and was thrilled to get the Gremlin back! I made a few mods that made things fit and look better. I ground off the area's in black. The ejection pin marks and frame rail tops. This allowed the interior to sit lower and thus the body I then added plastic strip to the chassis sides. IIRC they were around 3/16 but check on your own model for exact size. These little mods and small inner fenders on the rear nelped a lot. Thanks
  10. Correct...Shelby version....and the real car did not have any down tubes...so what's in the kit is correct.....for a Shelby.
  11. Love it!!!! As a owner of a 74 coupe I have heard that slogan just a few times!!!! Mine is not the 'Boxy' Matador but the NASCAR coupe..... I'll stay OT now!!!!
  12. I stocked up on these kits back in the day thinking I'd convert them to NASCAR Boxy Fighter Matadors.....Then a resin body came out and I never converted one.....thankfully! I like that concept drawing.....gives me ideas!
  13. I figured you'd turn that Rebel into a Matador!!!!
  14. I'd take a few at $5.........I use them under most of the 70's era builds....god chassis really.....A guy once offered my a large lot of the AMT NASCAR for $1 each....if I took all 300 that day!
  15. PERIOD COOL!
  16. Great look, stance and craftsmanship!!!!
  17. I have a Mattel Vac-U-Form........it belongs on the collector display shelf.
  18. That's about the same as I built....I heat the plastic sheet, once mounted to frame, over a hot plate next to the vac base. This way I get the plastic hot and it's as hot as possible when I place it on the vac table. Good luck
  19. I'd like a set......who, what, where, when??
  20. Well done!
  21. I have a few vac form machines. The first one I made. About 6 inch square unit. LOTS of plans on the net....make it for $20-35 works well. I use it about once a year.....the only thing it does well in my opinion is windshields. 'Parts' are to soft in details and hard to trim/fit.
  22. I have never heard or seen these 1/64 kits....look great....but the ones I found for sale were over $25 so I gotta pass.....that's about what the Tamiya 1/20 kits go for on ebay! They are cool but I see them as $15 kits.....Greet idea Koyosho.....price needs fixing
  23. I need details!!! kit, slot car body?? NICE
  24. Called a short shot
