  1. The Double Edsel......
  2. I'll take EVERY Craftsman kit they can find and rerun.......I enjoy them.....
  3. Cool idea and very well done
  4. AMT - Round2 has all the AMT tooling that still exists. MPC - See above Revell- Tooling that was not wanted or thought to be useful by the Revell owners in Germany were sold off tp Atlantis. All this tooling was in stroage in ILL Monogram- See above Johan- This one could fill a book. NO one answer. At one time when I did some work with Accurate Miniatures we looked at some JoHan tooling that was in storage. It was incomplete, clear parts IIRC, so AM passed. Moebius took a look at some other JoHan tooling back around 2017....it too was incomplete so they passed. There is a good amount of JoHan tooling out there, I understand Okey Spalding may have some too, but much of it is incomplete and needs to be restored. After the NEW IMC company announced 4 JoHan kits and then closed their doors I figure we have seen the end of the tooling unless model cars become the number one hobby and it is worth investing in these old tools.
  5. Cool idea...well done!
  6. Or the MPC Eagle or Turbine wedge kits done HW style!
  7. Free shipping..... I bet if you buy with Paypal it will take you to a non secure PP site and get your log on......just sayin
  8. How about some of the more unusual Hot Wheels........from my collection....Most would be tough to make in 1/25...maybe the Gremlin!
  9. Looks to good to be true!!!!! I'd bite at $25 if real!
  10. I am always looking for movie cars....that one slipped by me...well done!!!
  11. You did a great job!! I would get one in 1/24 in a minute.......yes....scale snob!
  12. The chassis on the Revell SCCA Trans Am versions is imcorrect.....but as Bob Johnson told me it was a fight to get the IMSA cars made and he only got the SCCA Trans Am version done if he reused the IMSA parts. No shame...... I produced a Roush Merkur trans kit years ago to make the IMSA and Trans Am version.....I only made one body and changed the decals and spoilers to make IMSA or T/A cars.....so I did the same thing Revell did!!! Someday I'll tell you how we almost got a Roush Cougar kit!!! Resin Merkur
  13. A IMSA Mustang GTO and a SCCA Trans Am class Mustang can look alike outside. When Jack Roush was running both series in Motorcraft sponsorship it may be confusing. But under the skin, which was different too, there were lots of differences. So we are not rivet counting....just noting the difference. The Revell kit was a IMSA kit first.....they then tooled SCCA Trans Am body for the kit but left the chassis as a IMSA spec......again all this is FYI. The fact Mitch was able to make it look this good with old kit decals is a big win!
  14. Nice clean work!
  15. My store is down to big ships, Civil War cannons, 58 Chevy DC....I'll check Monday when I grocery shop.....just in case!
  16. You did well.....I like those kits! Small correction is that Mustang is a SCCA Trans Am racer.....IMSA cars are a little different...both same type racer.
  17. A Maverick from Moebius has been brought up in idea meetings.....but never got past 'a good idea' stage.
  18. I have always wanted to build a THX 1138 version....
  19. Coming soon???
  20. Thanks so much for that info. I had Clifford headers on a Dodge P/U and they were nice....did not know they had anything for 200! THX
  21. Well done! I bought a few of those kits to cut up for NASCAR modified.....but yet to build one!
  22. B-24 is a favorite of mine.....neat build! How big is it???
  23. COOL!!! What is your fuel/carb set up?? I ask as I pulled my 68 Mustang coupe from storage today. It has sat for 5 years and I need to restore or sell. It has the 2200/6 and it is in GREAT condition, less than 5K miles since a rebuild. But the carb top gaskets have failed so I need a new carb.....and they ain't cheap! I could rebuilt but I am not sure if I want to chance it. Again great looking car.....PS mine has the factory front bench seat...ever see one???
  24. Neat idea.....Maybe Leno will do that!!!
  25. Sorry to hear that...... Part of having our cats and dog is fantastic.....the other part is horrible. I did the same thing in FEB....took our Newfoundland to vet with hurt leg. Vet said snake bit...needed surgery. OK then they found she had a lung issue. We had to put her down. Doubt I'll ever have another dog....fear none would live up to Pris. Again....a sad day but you gave her a GREAT life!! all we can do.
