  1. Little Debbie Peanut Butter Creme Pies...... I was allergic to dark chocolate as a kid (I could have white chocolate). I've outgrown the allergy but have no taste for it. It's one of the few treats without chocolate.
  2. One would think the dogs would be happy I'm working from home. But if they are not my full attention....not so much! (The other two weren't even in the room!)
  3. Wow....seriously under estimated the size of the box! Auction win and one of those that I'm not expecting to see reissued any time soon..... Not like I could sneak this one past the wife!
  4. The national radio show Bob & Tom talk about singing Happy Birthday as being long enough to wash your hands. At this point, I'm moving on to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant!!
  5. I understand the cancellation of the rest of the season as there were only a couple weeks (ten games) left but the ECHL cancelled the playoffs!! FC Cincinnati 6-22-6 (0-2 this year before COVID-19...and the new coach was fired before the season for using racial slurs) Reds.....last playoffs? 2013 Bengals....solid 2-14 Cyclones? 38-16-8 (second place).....won the Brabham Cup last year for the best record.
  6. The battery box was assembled but looks like it was never used (copper is too clean). The optional front end with the clear lense along with the NASCAR parts are in there. I have a 64 convertible promo too but the windshield header it gone
  7. 1964 Ford Galaxie convertible.....unpainted and complete. Not a fan of the lowrider stance
  8. I try to do that over the holidays as I have a low threshold on family 'group hug'.
  9. Cadillac promo from the Louisville model show - minor roof damage repaired. I have the 76 version, but I wanted the earlier model Revell VM, same show - missed the previous release, open/complete and who knows if/when it will be re-released Testors Mercedes - Louisville toy store. Sealed. I have a thing for the classics
  10. Coming back from the toy show in Dayton Sunday....Lamborghini Urus. First one I've seen in 1:1
  11. I'm avoiding the Coronavirus by cleaning surfaces with alcohol and purifying myself with a different kinda alcohol taken internally.....
  12. Another My Furry Valentine is in the books. Seven years ago, a local event started around Valentine's Day to of local rescues and shelters getting together in one place to help facilitate animal adoptions. 658 animals were adopted this weekend bring the total to over 6,600 adoptions since it started. The rescue I've worked with didn't participate this year so I went down to help set up/tear down one of the shelters that one of my foursome came from. It makes the wife nervous that #5 will somehow be coming home with me.....
  13. Went looking for a specific bobblehead at a local antique mall and came across these. $10/each and still sealed although the shrinkwrap continues to collapse the boxes.
  14. Bought these some time ago as is. Chassis is blue on both as is the glass?
  15. Auction win.....appears to be complete with some minor assembly completed. Poor chrome though...... Just for the shock value, put some parts bin wheels like it like the Lamborghini Espada rat rod. It's going into the TBD stack for now.....(to be determined but promise it wont be a cut up)
  16. Agreed. It's reaching areas one wouldn't expect. Watching the Buffalo Sabres game last night the announcer was commenting about concerns for hockey sticks being made in China.
  17. That's InkJet printer territory!
  18. Open but complete (wrong decal sheet).....$5 . Engine is half built and the front seats/dash installed but trying to figure why use chrome silver on the seats?
  19. Yeah I try to keep change on me otherwise whatever I end up buying costs $xx.20. When I give the young person bills only, I know I'm getting eight dimes instead of three quarters and a nickel.
  20. From my son's school yesterday afternoon....... Due to a sharp increase in the number of students who are absent from school because of illness, the XXXXXXXXXX School District will be closed on Friday, January 31, 2020. All after-school activities and athletic events will go on as scheduled. We are taking this proactive measure to allow time for our custodial crew to give our classrooms and common areas a deep clean Wait? So they are doing the deep clean but the home basketball games tonight and tomorrow night (in the gym) and the dance (in the cafeatorium) will still go on. Are they infecting attendees to these events or cleaning today so they have a new batch of germs for Monday?
  21. Check local toy/collectible stores. One local to me will give 25% to buy and 50% to trade. Be leery of antique malls as I know one vendor that sells bobbleheads for $15-20 each but only gives $1-2 to purchase.
  22. 1/18 Mitsubishi Starion 1/18 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Just can't bring myself to pay $150+ for one of either
  23. Got these several months ago from a local hobby store that specialized in radio controlled cars/planes. There was talk of the store closing and the owner had taken ill. I went over to check the stock and got these along with a pair of Moebius step side Ford's at 40% off. Later that afternoon, their facebook said the remaining stock was purchased by a competitor and the store closed. I went past the building this weekend and it's been dozed by a bank that bought the property. Shame to see another small store go out.
  24. Didn't need them but priced right......
  25. Have no idea what I'm going to do with it but it was too cool to pass up. We didn't have cool toys like this when I was a kid.....
