You can tell from the look on his face, he lived the good, happy life. Condolences from me and my furry foursome...?

Autoworld.com Free Car kit!!!!!
HomerS replied to ranma's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Wish they would include a snap kit then I could encourage the teenager to work on one -
I'm thankful I was the lone person in the office today! I had Bob & Tom on and was listening to a comedian talking about a restaurant in Chicago with a picture of the Bears QB on each table throwing a pass to a receiver. The proper social distancing is the space between that receiver and where that pass went!

Not sure where this came from but it was in good condition other than a bent front axle. The wheels came a Hot Wheels and swapped out the interior from a gold Matchbox Escalade that had tan interior.

What did you see on the road today?

I need to speak with HR about my co-worker snoring and drooling on my paperwork while I'm trying to practice 'social distancing'....

I'm in commercial real estate and my favorite is the restroom: Touchless faucet Touchless soap Touchless air hand dryer Now grab the restroom door handle to exit So close........

My son's school continued the free lunch program for the kids who normally would have received it during school year. There was the usual debate on how to pass it out safely and the wife nixed my idea.......t-shirt cannon! I'm thinking they can package it up in a brown paper bag....gas it up & squeeze the trigger.....Boom! If they let the high school QB do it, he can get that timing down and keep the traffic flowing without stoppage. Now I have to keep tabs on my teenager as I can see him trying this with a potato gun to prove it can be done!

Little Debbie Peanut Butter Creme Pies...... I was allergic to dark chocolate as a kid (I could have white chocolate). I've outgrown the allergy but have no taste for it. It's one of the few treats without chocolate.

One would think the dogs would be happy I'm working from home. But if they are not my full attention....not so much! (The other two weren't even in the room!)
-
Wow....seriously under estimated the size of the box! Auction win and one of those that I'm not expecting to see reissued any time soon..... Not like I could sneak this one past the wife!

The national radio show Bob & Tom talk about singing Happy Birthday as being long enough to wash your hands. At this point, I'm moving on to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant!!

I understand the cancellation of the rest of the season as there were only a couple weeks (ten games) left but the ECHL cancelled the playoffs!! FC Cincinnati 6-22-6 (0-2 this year before COVID-19...and the new coach was fired before the season for using racial slurs) Reds.....last playoffs? 2013 Bengals....solid 2-14 Cyclones? 38-16-8 (second place).....won the Brabham Cup last year for the best record.

The battery box was assembled but looks like it was never used (copper is too clean). The optional front end with the clear lense along with the NASCAR parts are in there. I have a 64 convertible promo too but the windshield header it gone

Self-Quaranteen and Build Models!
HomerS replied to maxwell48098's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I try to do that over the holidays as I have a low threshold on family 'group hug'. -

Corona Virus (Covid 19) and Model Kits
HomerS replied to Daddyfink's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'm avoiding the Coronavirus by cleaning surfaces with alcohol and purifying myself with a different kinda alcohol taken internally..... -
Another My Furry Valentine is in the books. Seven years ago, a local event started around Valentine's Day to of local rescues and shelters getting together in one place to help facilitate animal adoptions. 658 animals were adopted this weekend bring the total to over 6,600 adoptions since it started. The rescue I've worked with didn't participate this year so I went down to help set up/tear down one of the shelters that one of my foursome came from. It makes the wife nervous that #5 will somehow be coming home with me.....

Went looking for a specific bobblehead at a local antique mall and came across these. $10/each and still sealed although the shrinkwrap continues to collapse the boxes.

Auction win.....appears to be complete with some minor assembly completed. Poor chrome though...... Just for the shock value, put some parts bin wheels like it like the Lamborghini Espada rat rod. It's going into the TBD stack for now.....(to be determined but promise it wont be a cut up)

Delay of New model kits-Round2, Revell
HomerS replied to Bob Ellis's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Agreed. It's reaching areas one wouldn't expect. Watching the Buffalo Sabres game last night the announcer was commenting about concerns for hockey sticks being made in China.
