  1. Great thread. Some great projects. Inspiring work. Great step by step photos.
  2. Looks like a fun project. Rescues are immensely pleasing. Also a great challenge in creativity. Looking forward to seeing more.
  3. Nicely done. Great concept.
  4. The joy of modeling. And sometimes modeling can be an exercise in art. Whatever pleases you.
  5. Check out consumer reports. Here is a short video on portable airconditioners. https://www.consumerreports.org/video/view/home-garden/energy-efficiency/6173734875001/why-not-to-buy-a-portable-air-conditioner/
  6. Mike a super clean build. Nicely done.
  7. At least your corpse will look good. As far as the medications its amazing to me when a commercial says tell your doctor. In the past if you tried to tell the doctor how to prescribe you would be looking for another doctor. Always horrified at the monotone list of side effects like they are no big deal. Or the heart medicine that can cause heart attacks. Huh. Its a pretty sad state the level of stupidity for selling products. Some products make sense because of who they are targeted at, while others leave me wondering what they were thinking.
  8. Well put. We all build for ourselves and no one else. Building to someones expectations is called work.
  9. Glad to see this project is back on the bench. Coming along nicely. Very nice work and some nice problem solving. Looking forward to seeing this finished.
  10. Nice work. Great idea doing the weathering to deal with the paint problem rather than stripping it. Parts box projects are always enjoyable.
  11. Same here.
  12. Very nice. Great color and concept. Well done.
  13. A friend of my got me a copy of 208. Scanned through it and its a great issue. Looking forward to 209 and many more.
  14. I have no intention of using the like button. I fail to see why anyone would care if some anonymous person likes something. Somebody kindly explain how this is a good thing versus typing a few words so somebody knows why you like something.
  15. Cool project. Always enjoy your backstory with the builds. Nice color. I've built a couple of the first reales and they cey nice kits.
  16. Good point. If the rustoleum crazes the plastic there is no savings by using cheap paint.
  17. Another step towards the dumbing of society. Why must we embrace a meaningless metric instead of meaningful communication.
  18. Both are cool. Either one. But do both they are both good db ideas.
  19. It's best to stick to one manufacturer and type. Especially with how expensive tamiya paint is. You can test but the next time you grab a can of rustoleum primer if the formula changes it may be purple bath time.
  20. Just wanted to bump this up. Well worth watching these videos. Some interesting techniques. Amazing precision. Not only is he using a variety of materials , he has made most of the tools he uses.
  21. True but it clogs up the recent activity list. Which is a pain and intrusive.
  22. Thanks Dave. Are the activity feed selection ava7ble when using a table and if so where is it at?
  23. When I login I usually use the latest activity button. Is the a way to filter out the off topic section.?
  24. I agree that some of the obituaries really aren't necessary and clutter the board. I would prefer to see just the obituaries limited to automotive and modeling community.
