Its part of the price of doing business with China and its been that way for some time. The companys are aware that there products aren't moving from China and they don't seem to care.
-
Its seems to be the new way of doing business. Saw recently some big company had a big guveaway postponed because that hadn't gootten consent to use the merchandise they were giving away.

A while back I was having an issue with pictures not showing and I had to click to see them. I found cookies had been turned off which wasn't allowing the pictures to show. Turn6ng cookies back on fixed the problem. -
Back to getting clickbait ads (for mature audiences). There are 4 to 5 ads on a page and multiples of the same ad. Tried clicking on ad and labeling it as not appropriate but it doesn't remove those ads. Have done it multiple times with no effect.

Chip Foose kits.....

Just because you didn't care for the wheels and tires doesn't mean the people who owned the cars weren't happy with them. It's a subjective thing. -
Chip Foose kits.....
bobthehobbyguy replied to BlackSheep214's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
No there was speculation that that's what revell was going to do. But they did a total new tool of the scanned truck. The riginal kit was stock and had ipening d8ors. -
Remebered one othe thing . On the transmission mout their are t we o pins that locate the chassis to tge frame pan. Slightly ream them out and also take a little off the top. Its important when the 32 ford frame is used to get a tight fit to the frame.

These kits go together nicely. One thing is to make sure the tabs for the interior side as floor board. Also if you want to blend the wheel wheels seperate the wheel wells from the uphostery section.

Ads are acting up again. On my iphone top banner is wider than rest of page. One ad is also slightly covering the text below it. Your settings did change the the ad sizes but now tthat getting larger.

Glad to see this is back on the bench.

Chip Foose kits.....
bobthehobbyguy replied to BlackSheep214's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The goal for the reality shows is to get the widest audience. On its own good design and execution is not enough because its not that interesting to most average viewers. Rather think soap opera which draws a larger audience. A truly sad fact. And unfortunately the go to formula for the reality shows. I like chips work and would love to have a car built by him. Another builder would be Steve Moal whose cars are also very nice. -

Hobby Lobby
bobthehobbyguy replied to Mike 1017's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Since in most areas there are no local hobby shops. HL is the closest thing to a hobby show for most of us Their kit selection is ok but its the fact that have paint suplies , everygreen, and other supplies. -
Hobby Lobby
bobthehobbyguy replied to Mike 1017's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Considering HL is the closest thing to a real hobby shop its a shame they don't put more effort into kit selection. If they sell more kits they are also go to sell more paint and other supplies. -

The Rodder's Journal?
bobthehobbyguy replied to The Junkman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well I tried to go to the Rodders Journal website and it doesn't exist anymore. Didn't see any new information on their facebook page posts. Guess they are gone for good. So sad it was a great magazine.
