  1. Cool nicely done. Replacing the parts with plastic really makes the model stand out. I love it. I get a kick out of the articles that said that the roswell rod was fiberglass. I have an under construction shot showing it was done in metal.
  2. I will miss his vast automotive knowledge.
  3. Nice work. Great color. I have also decided that 2019 is the year to get some of my unfinished modeling projects done.
  4. Those seats are really nice. The leather looks great.

  6. Didn't know that pimp my ride was around then.
  7. Nicely done. Its the joy of modeling to do things the way you want to.
  8. Came out to the kitchen and saw 3 deer in my backyard. Just lounging around. One gave me the look who the hell are you. Fun living in the country..
  9. Thanks for showing your techniques for doing the rear spring. Never seems to be done very well.
  10. Very nice work. Nice fab work. Those springs look great.
  11. This subject has been discussed many times. Gregg has said no to selling. As said trading allowed.
  12. Why does the third box it says 24th scale however the first two are 25th?
  13. I was wondering how practical would it be to connect several small parts together with a sprue so that it would be considered a single piece.
  14. Question on head and oil pan. Are they layered styrene? How did you get the fins on the head to line up?
  15. Ok. I'm officially in. Project is a Monogram Tarantula. Painted body 15 years ago and put back in box. Sorry for poor quality photo but wanted to get this posted. Using a my tablet for photos and need to get a better camera.
  16. If you look at it as a learning experience then it makes sense, as said as far as making money it doesn't make sense. What ever you spend can be considered as tutition. You definitely want to pick a project car that you like.
  17. One thing is how long have the cars been sitting. If its been for quite a while the tires are probably shot. What are those going to cost. In addition you're going to need a battery. If a car is not running you don't know if the transmission is any good or even the brakes or the starter or a variety of other things.. All these things can be pricey. If they are that cheap its for a good reason. If the goal is to make some money I'd suggest doing something else. Other wise you run the risk of the venture turning into a money pit.
  18. Alsa chrome paint would be better. Its designed for outdoor use. Can also brush it on.
  19. Thanks for the update. Having had sciatic issues 20 years ago I can relate to his pain issues. My prayers that this procedure works and Gregg has a speedy recovery.
  20. That's great info. I was to far along to figure out the issue. Now know for the future. Great looking paint.
  21. I'm in. Need to pick the best candidate.
  22. I'd like to see this be quarterly. 2019 is the year to finish a bunch of my stalled projects. Been organizing my stalled projects will I think around 100. They range from box stock to major kit bash. Want to get some completed before more are added.
