This project is a showcase of some amazing scratchbuilding techniques. Your approach to doing the rollcage is brillant. The interior work is also great. Hope you can figure out a solution to the problem will be very helpful for others. -

Interesting I wasn't away of this version. I always thought it was a modified piranha. -
Thanks. Makes sense. Hopefully the x will be available for closing ads.

I have to agree the nee front fenders suit the car better. Very impressive project. Another of some amazing projects being done. We definitely have a league of extraordinary model craftsman on this board.

Removing the Rat from the Roaster

Great project. Always like the garage sale parts layout for the start. Goes to show how great a canvass the revell 32 ford kits are for projects. -
Rat removed from the Roaster: '32 roadster

Nicely done. -
We are back to the clickbait ads(walmart shoppers) and I've noticed something odd. We can have the same ad but in the top right corner is a rotated triangle and on others there is the triangle and an x. If I click the x a menu comes up asking why I don't want to see the ad. Unfortunately the ads with just the triangle wants you to sign into google to report the ad. Why is there a difference?

1990 Mustang LX - SVT Cobra DOHC Powered! UPDATE! 1/22/23
bobthehobbyguy replied to Dennis Lacy's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Great project. Love seeing how you approach doing things. Glad you were able decide to do this project despite the short comings of the kit. In fact in this case the backstory could be that the top had been chopped to make the car a little more aerodynamic. -
Coming along nicely. Those flames are a great touch.

I agree. Time to move on and enjoy all the great projects being showcase on the site. Or building your next project to showcase. I would hope people would have better things than to find excuses why the rules can be broken. -

Those door handles are amazing. Can't image the time invested. Obviously the process was simple remove everything that wasn't the door handle. LOL This is a stunning piece of art work in the making. Looking forward to viewing the final product. -

New Policy Regarding Inappropriate Posts

Forum rules: No vulgar language or "fake" vulgar language (as in #&@$$!#$!! or changing the spelling of the word). Offensive language is completely unacceptable. Everyone here is capable of getting their point across without using crude language. We do not allow political or religious discussions or comments. We know it can be tempting sometimes, but please don't. ==================== To me these rules are clear for how the site is moderated. The mods are volunteers giving their time for the site. Their role often demands their judgment calls on enforcing the rules. Truly a difficult and often under appreciated job. Overall all if we stick to topic of modeling we make their job easier and are less likely to have these types of problems.
