  1. Nice group of models.
  2. Snow in my area is down to 1000 feet. My area doesn't typically get snow but its been really coId. Its going to get down to 31/32 F degrees this week.
  3. When I use embossing powder I paint a coat of the color that the powder is. Make sure you spread an even coat of glue. Usually you can do sections. Natural sections are drivers side, passenger side and transmission hump. Too large a section and the glue can start to set up. Finally I would pour on the powder and shake off the rest to get an even coat for each section.
  4. Well done. Great concept. As said it looks like somebody had a bunch of parts and needed a ax work truck.
  5. Nicely done. Another very creative cobra.
  6. Sorry I wasn't clear. I'd never seen this kit before. It was an interesing way to create another sand car version. Looking forward to your work on this.
  7. This project is a showcase of some amazing scratchbuilding techniques. Your approach to doing the rollcage is brillant. The interior work is also great. Hope you can figure out a solution to the problem will be very helpful for others.
  8. Interesting I wasn't away of this version. I always thought it was a modified piranha.
  9. Thanks. Makes sense. Hopefully the x will be available for closing ads.
  10. Happens to me all the time. I will get an idea start looking at reference and get more ideas. Then I start gathering parts and more ideas start happening.
  11. Thanks for the tips. I looked and did see all the videos that were available. Definitely will be trying one out.
  12. I have to agree the nee front fenders suit the car better. Very impressive project. Another of some amazing projects being done. We definitely have a league of extraordinary model craftsman on this board.
  13. Great project. Always like the garage sale parts layout for the start. Goes to show how great a canvass the revell 32 ford kits are for projects.
  14. Nice job. They look great. Great presentation. I also would be interested in any tips you can offer for building them. I have a couple but haven't gotten the courage to do them yet.
  15. We are back to the clickbait ads(walmart shoppers) and I've noticed something odd. We can have the same ad but in the top right corner is a rotated triangle and on others there is the triangle and an x. If I click the x a menu comes up asking why I don't want to see the ad. Unfortunately the ads with just the triangle wants you to sign into google to report the ad. Why is there a difference?
  16. Great project. Love seeing how you approach doing things. Glad you were able decide to do this project despite the short comings of the kit. In fact in this case the backstory could be that the top had been chopped to make the car a little more aerodynamic.
  17. Love the step by step notes ion how you achieve your results.
  18. Coming along nicely. Those flames are a great touch.
  19. Nicely done , great color.
  20. I agree. Time to move on and enjoy all the great projects being showcase on the site. Or building your next project to showcase. I would hope people would have better things than to find excuses why the rules can be broken.
  21. Definitely a strange issue on the paint. It does seem that the clear caused some issues. Hopefully the paint will cure.
