  1. I went today, nothing new but they get shipments on Monday and boxes hadn’t been opened yet. I used my coupon to buy a Molotow pen as mine has gone dry. Swung by Pep Boys for some Duplicolor primer. Funny thing, they’ve never been out of gray before. I was going to get a can of gray and a can of white primer, so two cans of white it is!
  2. I’m with Snake! If this is automotive paint or other good lacquer, spray a bit into a small paper cup ( I use the bathroom size Dixie cups) then dab a blob of it into the hole. Hold the part so it’s up top so it won’t run. Lacquer should shrink down as it dries. You may have to do this a few times. Then just sand it flat with the surrounding area with wet 600 or greater sand paper. Ive gotten away with this many times!
  3. A question.. why are you piecing together chassis instead of using the later AMT 71 Duster chassis?
  4. Here in Eastern Pennsylvania temperatures have been in the high 20s to hi 30s, often on the same days! This causes issues since we have a good amount of snow and it will melt during the day, then freeze again at night. The snow banks on either side of my driveway are rock solid, but melt some during the day, with water across the pavement.. guess what happens there when it gets cold again? One skating rink. Today and tomorrow we have predictions of freezing rain, then it goes up to the 40s and then two more snow events before the weekend. Slippery mess!
  5. I would like to finish the couple of models I have open on the bench right now. There are also a couple of long unfinished projects I’d like to complete. But ya never know.. I will use the “Look a squirrel ?!” defense!
  6. Nice car! When the Challengers first came out there were a bunch of them in rental fleets. I was lucky enough to get one and the minute I got in it, I had this dejavu moment that I was sitting in my old 73 Barracuda! Same interior and size, definitely a retro car!
  7. Nice work on the rear springs!
  8. Same here! I get nothing from this board. Same for a stamp collecting forum I’m on. There I changed my email over to my gmail account.
  9. Per the Scalemates references.. note that it’s crowd sourced, so anyone can add / change the information there. I went in there and updated some of the Jeepster info based on data provided to me from the brain trust here. So why don’t you guys go there and straighten it out?
  10. Very cool what Tom started with. I have a laser pointer / PowerPoint slide advancer tool that is the perfect shape for a roadster trunk! Unfortunately it’s worth $30. But the moment it stops working...
  11. Thank you Rich! My pleasure! Now build those cars! ? And the community good will goes round and round! Yesterday I received the pair of ancient slicks I needed to properly finish my Red Chariot! A kind act indeed! Many thanks to Muncie / Steve Payne for helping me with these! Much appreciated and I’m happy to pass it along by helping the next guy!
  12. We have enough supplies for a few days.. no need to go anywhere! Maybe some bench time!
  13. Tom, I have that same canopy glue. Works well and a lifetime supply!
  14. Here’s one that I have currently on my stalled project shelf.
  15. Your chop looks really good! I’m watching your project. Per the windshield, we all deserve a bit o luck now and then! ?
  16. Very nice! I look forward to the next 24 Hr Build!
  17. We have five snow / ice events predicted over the next week. And it's like the new stations are in competition to predict the worst weather! Watch our news at 11pm, we have more snow than the other stations!
