Become normal again

Yes I’ve noticed entertainment orgs trying to pull more money out of people lately, and not just the cable channels. This season the second episode of “This Is Us”, one of the few TV shows I will watch, was preempted for something.. I think it was election night.. the the next week they moved on to the next episode. This is one of those shows that progresses in time, so you want to watch episodes in order. I went to view the episode On Demand, and they wanted to charge me! Screw that! I’ve since stopped watching the series. My wife watches some cable shows on TLC and they’re pushing some of the garbage she likes to a new streaming channel for $5 a month! Nope, not paying it!

No worries! I just hate it when people follow your build all the way through, and once it’s finished someone says, “Ya know...”. ?

Hey Ken, the Buicks still had a perimeter frame in 1959-60. This is the frame under one of those original kits. I did the same thing with my 60 Buick custom, don’t know if it matters to you, just mentioning it before you get too far! Been bit, warning others! ?

Part of the fun of the 24 Hour Build is the unexpected! You never know when you will encounter an obstacle.. and more likely since you are moving fast! But like I’ve always said, it’s not how you screw it up, it’s how you recover!

I haven’t had a real haircut in a year! I needed one back when barbers were still closed.. so I took out my electric shaver thingie, attached the longest comb extension and did it myself. Considering I have little up top, it came out well enough that I’ve continued. Not that anxious to be that close to someone who touches people all day just yet. I’ve avoided non-essential stuff like a dental checkup, since I’m always fine.

They got me on the day of the 24 Hour Build. I was in the Zoom chat with a few Canadians and my phone rang, showing Toronto...

eBay is the place to sell items that you hope to sell at auction for the best prices. I’ve seen way too many people who got way more than they hoped for, then complain about fees for the system that made it possible! Human nature I guess!

I cut a pair of screw posts off a model yesterday.. one fell right on the bench. The other went in orbit and I believe I heard it land in the closet at the other end of the room!
