  1. I'm surprised they are adding stores. I understood the chain was in dire straights!
  2. As taxidermy subjects
  3. Cool. A fun little slump buster. I spent a lot of time on my interior only to find you really can’t see it on the finished model, as your pix show
  4. Coke is and was worldwide. When I lived in Turkey 1966-68, it was sold everywhere. A sealed bottle of Coke was one of the few things Americans were allowed to buy off the local market. And with the lack of available refrigeration, we kids thought you were supposed to drink it warm! When we returned to US we complained it was cold and hurt our teeth!
  5. Meanwhile in Havana...
  6. With flaming marshmallows
  7. Posting just for the record.. I think everyone has seen my camper by now!
  8. We don’t get it because we aren’t Japanese.. different market. Crazy stuff sells there that we will never really understand
  9. Very cool! My favorite of the three years since it always seemed to be the forgotten year! Back in 1976-79 I owned a two door sedan with six / power glide. Little ole lady car, she sold it because she could no longer handle the heavy manual steering.
  10. Those look great Robert! It was fun building with you in the Zoom room!
  11. Still playing with this one! Working daily on the shape and such between adding putty and sanding it off! I just cut out the interior center piece, I’d rather see the interior, will be cutting down glass to just windshields too.
  12. That’s your email provider. Pull up one of the emails. There should be a click box for “not junk” or “allow this email addy”
  13. Same little bit o snow here in the Philly burbs. Street is black pavement already.
  14. Everything behind the cowl is scratch built from Evergreen sheet plastic
  15. Very nice Claude! I too lived through the custom van era, but in New Jersey even the most beat vans went for a lot of money.
  16. The real car indeed had a regular 273, no chrome or anything.. typically movie car. Nothing done to it that wouldn’t show on film! It is a Barracuda, I knew the guy who found it abandoned at the back of an auto dealer lot, and restored it. I’ve been under the hood and crawled in behind the seats. The Barracuda structure was there.
  17. GSL postponed a year! Now in 2023
  18. Since it was discussed in this thread.. GSL postponed until 2023!
  19. Amusing how different everyone wants to build theirs, but mostly ranging from stock to race cars! Is anyone else thinking “auto parts delivery wagon” or “TV repair wagon” ? Or any other light commercial ideas?
