  1. Maybe clear your internet cache and reboot the computer.
  2. No, it’s a hobby, it’s all about wasting time! Beats the heck out of watching TV!
  3. I do have a pink Cord in my parts box that someone sprayed white over dark red plastic!
  4. Carl, that’s when all the snow melts fast and you have flooding!
  5. Great build Ray! How many cases of beer does it hold?
  6. I was admiring the wheel opening! No rust!
  7. I saw the 40% off but nothing I needed. There was a guy in the aisle who had six model cars in his cart. We wound up talking for a half hour!
  8. Good luck with those front vents! I remember they weren’t exactly straight on my kit and were a pain to paint!
  9. First, since it's resin, make sure the mating surfaces are flat and clean on the inside prior to painting the body. Many resin bodies are too thick or are messy in the window area so it's good to plan ahead. Second, you can make windows out of flat plastic sheet. I like to use the white canopy type cements and/or scrap book clear tape to install. Either of these glues works well, the Evergreen one is available at Hobby Lobby.
  10. Looks good Sam! Glad you put a motor in it! ?
  11. A sign painter friend taught our club a trick many years ago. He would steady his hand with a bean bag, or the large bag of M&Ms. Putting the ball of your hand onto the bag, it will sink in, and this will hold it steady.
  12. Ah! JC Whitney cheapie tin wheel covers. I remember those with surface rust!
  13. We hate you! ?
  14. With exploding engines
  15. That is Okey. He said on Facebook that he’s once again selling on eBay
  16. Thanks guys! Those are good options. Any more sources out there? I’m pretty much just looking for generic master cylinders, with or without power brake boosters.. single or dual, to add to models that either don’t have one, or just have a blob as part of the firewall. I agree that I’d rather buy a drawer full of these than mess around making my own.
  17. As I'm searching through parts boxes looking for a master cylinder for my latest build, it hits me that there has to be someone casting these... Is there anyone who offers small bits like master cylinders? It would be nice to be able to get something like a six pack of them...
  18. My crazy cousin is headed across the Mohave Desert on motorcycle with two friends. He posted this photo. I believe it's a 1962ish Chrysler ?
  19. You are getting there! Just keep at it with the attitude that every model is just practice for the next one! Ask questions, share your work and ask for feedback. People here are happy to help and get excited watching people grow!
  20. Welcome! You are among like minded people here! Cuda looks good!
  21. I stared at this one a long time! This was my first attempt at a major kitbash, which involved adding the Mercedes Gullwing greenhouse and chassis to the 53 Studebaker. The Stude also was shortened and its a bit funky, so it will never be perfect. I had thought about starting fresh with a new Studebaker body, but decided I didn’t want to go that crazy. So I loosened up the greenhouse and straightened it. Here it is reattached and puttied up. One small step but over that hurdle
