  1. There is some really nice box art on these old kits, at least some. What a let-down when you open the box. I love that they use a micrometer for the letter "P" in Palmer. The only one who was vaguely familiar with a mic there had to be the guy that drew the logo. OP, can you show the contents of that "Charger" kit? I'm crazy curious now...
  2. Very cool, and there's something here that is really visually interesting, especially the underside. Nice work!
  3. Home run on that color choice!
  4. Shouldn't have mentioned the scale, most would never have believed it to be anything other than 1/25! Just a beautiful model, and doesn't that color just finish it off perfectly?!
  5. Still lovin' it!
  6. Robbing the seats and whatnot from an AMT 55 Chevy might be a good place to begin an interior, or any of the available 1/25 55-6-7 Chevy kits since they are Pontiac's cousins.
  7. Man that thing looks like it's in motion just sitting still! Love that color.
  8. Great collection of deliveries! VERY nice work and care for details; really outstanding.
  9. Very cool! 1/1000 scale kits are coming from PL, but I'm scared of the pricing!
  10. Outstanding work! That is a beautiful model, and the real bike has some really nice lines that you have captured perfectly. My favorite part, though, is that red paint! What a gorgeous shade of red; may I ask what paint you used for that?
  11. One of my favorite westerns of all time! Anyone else remember the short-lived spinoff TV series? I remember watching it with my grandparents, who were huge fans. (Sorry for the thread-jack, Snake)
  12. VERY nice. What more can one say that hasn't been voiced here already. Beautiful real car, superb model.
  13. Was never a big fan of brown cars, but dang there's something tasteful in that brown/white combo that really works here! Well done, the old MPC kit dolls up pretty nice!
  14. Perfect mods to get a unique look out of a common rod; really beautiful.
  15. Very cool and uncommon color choice, and it works like a charm! You did this old kit much justice.
  16. I thought the front suspension was much more similar than that; my bad! I was referring mostly to pan/chassis, and wheelbase with regards to the Caddy unit. Looks easier to cut out the area between the rear rails and drop in the same from the Impala, scratch up new mounts for the impala control arms and use that rear end; then graft the Buick front suspension as suggested above. I still believe this would net a better appearnce than trying to stretch the Chevy X by 7 scale inches. The shortened (as needed) Caddy X would remain more proportionally correct.
  17. The Monogram '59 Cadillac will get you closer to the right pan/x-frame/wheelbase, and it's nicely detailed.
  18. Sweet! I love that you built it gear-up and flying; that's just how jets look their best, IMHO! Looks very authentic. Is the Zvezda kit accurate? They seem to have a spotty track record; some great, some duds.
  19. Excellent craftsmanship, and a nice composition that leads the viewer's eye throughout the arrangement. Well planned and executed!
  20. Cool pickup; and the color choice suits it nicely. Well done!
