  8. Agreed. i know the MPC-Kit very well and "fighting" also on one ?. Your shows also, that you can make a good looking model out of a bad kit if you take your time. a lot of time. well done!

  13. Brian is definitely right All Beetle Kits, wich are available are NOT matching the "1302"-Beetle (71-72 Super Beetle) they used in the Film! If you want to make it correct, choose the New Revell Beetle for the Rear, interior, sidewalls, windshield. Use the Italeri / Aoshima Superbeetle 1303 for the front (Suspension) trunk area - BUT the flat windschield needed from the Beetle Limousine. The Italeri / Aoshima Kit has the fat bumpers to attach.
  14. that Welly looks pretty good! imo, the times of ugly diecast "only to play with" are long gone. Sometimes if i am searching for 1/24 scale models, i found them in the DieCast Corners. And i have great fun to deassamble and work on them.
