  1. I subscribe to the BSF channel on Youtube. Very interesting vids. That latest square body does look a lot like "The Wrecker".
  2. Try flowing a little dot of clear enamel paint in at the corners. Totally invisible, and very strong once cured.
  3. Fantastic, that chrome package is always a good look on the square body GM trucks. Everything looks just right.
  4. Great work, this will be a neat bridge between car/pickup and fire apparatus modelers. If I was at the Palmyra Fire Department back in the day, I'd have been tempted to put a '72 grille in it as a nod to a popular TV series.
  5. Aluminum versus aluminium can lead to a big fight, or row.
  6. Great build, and the roofline looks almost perfect. To make it perfect the rest of the way, the upper windshield trim needs to be slightly raised and revised, especially the corners, to Falcon/Comet shape.
  7. I think it looks great, and it and the real car are very, very '70s. So much so, I'm surprised it didn't have Thrush side pipes.
  8. Very nice light commercial effort, I remember similar Broncos back in the day with snow plows.
  9. Super nice build, color and stance are both on point.
  10. We go through two stages in our lives - an acquisition stage, and a dispersal stage. Both are important, but for different reasons. The older you get, less is more - that's for sure. I've got my junk pared down to just one bedroom closet, with more to be sold off to come. Getting rid of stuff takes a lot more effort than getting it does, but others I know have the same problem, just on a far grander scale. One guy made millions with a dental lab, spent a few million on everything he ever wanted, like a helicopter, motorcycles, lathes, a tractor, 4x4 pickup, quads, big time machine and sheet metal tools, tons of high end furniture, and on and on. The best of everything too, with all the trimmings. He used some of it a few times, much of it not at all, and now the pile sits in a BIG aircraft hanger as he wonders how to get rid of it all. And all I've got is a few models, some car parts, and a few other things to worry about. Puts it all into perspective.
  11. Beautiful building job, stunning, realistic photography, they just don't get much better.
  12. I need to come into this forum more often, that Torino is stunning. I love the NASCAR racers of this era, so tough looking.
  13. It's a nice kit, buildable as a convertible or a hardtop. The top needs some work to be accurate, but it's not too bad. I'd like to see what you could do with one. -Mike
  14. Probably the '69 Ford Cobra, a restoration of a gnarly glue bomb some 25 years ago.
  15. Very clean and realistic.
  16. I think the Cougar will be too narrow, but the wheelbase may be close. Suspension is close, may be a good choice with work. The Fairlane has a very different front suspension setup, the new '65 Comet may well be the closest if Moebius got it right, and they usually do.
  17. Very nice work. The 4x4 conversion is a natural, and the 351 engine looks just right in the engine bay, you'd never see the scale difference if there even is one. A great looking truck that came together like it was meant to be.
  18. It's a kid, building a model and making a video. Problem?
  19. Great start, I have the same diecast (bought new some 25 years ago) and it is a bit boring and the wrong color white. I've often thought about "fixing" it, so will be interesting to see where this one goes.
  20. Fantastic job, everything looks great, and rarely is the F350 seen built that well.
  21. Between this and the '66 Suburban, Revell is just killin' it with the long-awaited vintage SUVs.
  22. Super sano!
