  1. Welcome to our plastic playground Jeff.
  2. Absolutely beautiful builds Cliff. Great work.
  3. That's a great looking car Walter.
  4. Bill, where did you find a model of a '58 Studebaker Golden Hawk? I'd love to find one for my "Class of '58".
  5. Wow John, much congratulations to you on winning all of those awards. The work that went into building that model really shows, having seen it firsthand at a show. While building a great model is very rewarding in itself, unexpectedly winning awards for it is truly "icing on the cake"..................... and you've got A LOT of icing there buddy. Great job man....
  6. The very same heartfelt wishes to everyone out there in plastic land, to Gregg, Harry and all the Moderators and Administrators of this Forum. Also Happy Chanukah wishes.
  7. That is a great looking wagon Ron. Good job.
  8. Wow Rob, it's great to see that you finally got this one done. Great job.
  9. Glad to see that you picked such a cool project for a reprieve Tom. Are you going to use some half round rod for the floor hump..??
  10. Me too. I have a couple of blocks of styrofoam on my bench for just that purpose, along with a box of wooden toothpicks, wooden skewers and a dozen alligator clips...... and don't forget spring loaded clothespins.
  11. What a fabulous group of beautiful models Harry. Well done.
  12. That looks great Frank.
  13. That's a beautiful car Bruce. Good job.
  14. Nice group of cars Al. Good job.
  15. You had a very productive year Shane. Great job.
  16. Fabulous group of cars Steven. Are you running out of display space for your completed builds yet...? LOL. I know I will have to get more display cases very soon as I can barely squeeze in another couple of cars. I look forward to watching your 2016 builds come together.
  17. Now you're officially an old fart like the rest of us old guys.
  18. Great job Erik. So far I've resisted the urge to work on my kit, but I do have some serious plans for it and am accumulating some parts for it.
  19. Since my goal is to build as many cars from the 1950's that I can, I pretty much pick one of the 50's cars that I have in the TO DO pile...... either a plastic kit, a promo or a resin kit. I occasionally stray from the 50's cars and build a Street Rod. Right now I'm working on a 1950 Oldsmobile.
  20. I totally agree with Matt Bacon and Bill Geary. While cleaning mold lines, ejector pin marks, etc. on every part is the most tedious part of working on a model, the end results really show in the quality of the built up model. When you treat every part as if it is its own model, when all of those "little models" are assembled properly and neatly, you wind up with a spectacular looking finished product.
  21. Hope you have a great day Steve. I look forward to seeing you again at a show soon.
  22. That looks really cool Bernard. Good job.
  23. Great job in getting these finished up Tom. Ya gotta love it when you finally overcome all the obstacles and beat them into submission...... My usual victory comment is "They're only plastic...... and I'm smarter...!!!"
  24. Nice work Cliff. You sure do some nice work on modifying diecasts, and your period custom touches are spot-on.
  25. That's a really cool looking custom Ron... Great job.
