  1. Wow Eric, that is looking awesome. I love the art-deco style and I absolutely love what you did with the plastic spoons...... I'll have to remember that "trick". I can't wait to see how this progresses.
  2. I also got Ed's interior for the '57 Ford and was extremely happy with it for the mild custom I built. I highly recommend Ed'd products. The steering wheel cover pictured is a resin piece from Norm Veber.
  3. Thanks very much Mike, that helps me a lot. I'll pull the trigger on getting the interior.
  4. Great work Randy...... You've got an awesome collection of Caddys.
  5. Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone has, or could, fit the interior from the Sedan kit into the new Convertible kit?? My reason for asking is; I'd like to order the resin rolled & pleated interior from Ed Fluck, to use it in the Revell '57 Chevy Convertible kit. I know there are differences for the convertible interior (rear doglegs, etc.) but I need to know if it will basically fit size-wise (maybe with some slight tweaking?). I don't have a Sedan kit to be able to check it out myself. Thanks for any help on this.
  6. That looks great Scott. I'll have to look into those Bandai kits as my grandson is really getting into Star Wars lately...... and he's only 4...!!!
  7. One day build......!!!!!! Geeze.. I get the box opened and examine all the parts and maybe come up with half a plan in one day...!!! I don't know how the hell you do it Al...... Nice job though.

  9. Great video and great old cars, thanks Greg.
  10. The very same early Christmas wishes to you too John...... and also to everyone else here on the Forum...... and also a Happy Chanukah.
  11. Absolutely gorgeous Steven. You did an excellent job on every aspect of this car. As much as you say you hate Black, you did a fine job on this one.
  12. Kevin, you are correct in that I've never been divorced....... came close about 44 years ago but resolved the problem. I always think several times about my purchases before I make them.... it all depends on the budget at the time. I sincerely hope that you and your wife have many, many years ahead of you.
  13. I'm not trying, or intending, to "start a war" here, but I can't understand why a wife would object to her husband spending money on his hobby as long as all the bills are paid and there is food on the table. My wife of almost 47 years has never once complained or spoken out against me spending money on models or supplies for any hobby I've ever had. I pay all the household bills and am the saver...... She pays the insurance and medical premiums and buys the food and spends whatever is left over. Maybe I'm just one of the "lucky ones", but I've never, ever had to "hide" anything I've bought, or "sneak it into the house"............. and that saying "Happy wife = Happy life" just really irks me. Marriage is a team effort.
  14. That was pretty cool.
  15. Welcome to our plastic playground Kevin.
  16. That's a pretty sharp looking Vette Greg.
  17. That is a sweet looking Eldorado Nick.
  18. Those are great promos Ken, and I have them all.
  19. You did a great job on this car Ferby.
  20. I absolutely have had to do that on several occasions with models that just did not go together the way I had planned. I currently have a Modelhaus resin '56 Dodge kit that is awaiting its second go-round. I messed up my first attempt at a 3-tone paint job and interior detailing. After a few days in the Purple Pond, washing and drying, it sits aside until I'm ready to tackle it again. I'm working on something else in the meantime.
  21. Great job as usual Al.
  22. Steve is a Forum member...... Try sending him a PM to Steven Zimmerman.
  23. Thanks for all the responses guys.
