  1. Very cool. I have a fond spot for show rods, they were such great kits to build as a kid.
  2. I like that a lot, and the little Michelin Man adds a nice extra touch!
  3. sorryi missed this comment, but yes, they sent an email.
  4. Looking really cool so far!
  5. Very nice. I bought both kits, but they are far down on the to do list at the moment, so it is nice to see some finished.
  6. That looks great! I know that it is frustrating not getting much done over a span of time, but that is really nice to see.
  7. Wow, what a treasure chest! I would like to see that pickup done.... :-) If you do not think you will be doing that, there might be me...er someone willing to trade you for it. LOL :-)
  8. Cool project
  9. Just got my order today, right at 8 weeks, as the website stated. Always great products, certainly worth the wait.
  10. Looks great
  11. Nice project! I like that a lot.
  12. Nice view
  13. I it on Monday at Hobby Depot. I think this may be the first issue for them. A good fit for them tho as they have a pretty nice slot section.
  14. Welcome!! This is a great forum with lots of helpful info. Do not be disappointed if not too many folks respond to your intro, but post a project in progress or finished project, that is where most people respond. Enjoy the hobby!
  15. I like it!
  16. These measure right at 1/8inch ID and 1/4inch OD, but they came in a mm size, but I do not recall that size. The bag I bought had like 100 in it, so they will last ages. Cheap too, like $2-3 for the bag. I got mine online, but there are many options as some of the folks above have mentioned.
  17. I am assuming you are talking air bags for an air ride system? If so, I there are probably many different ways to handle this. One of the ways that I have been playing around with that looks pretty good is to use styrene tubing and "o" rings. Here are some pics of an older project, and the current project I am using this method on. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/uploads/med_gallery_8985_1213_27251.jpg http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/uploads/med_gallery_8985_800_170152.jpg
  18. Having lived here in Phoenix now for almost 9 years, I will WAY take 100 degrees here over 100 degrees back in Indiana, there is a HUGE difference. It's not like you do not know it is hot outside, it is just not insufferable.
  19. Thanks everyone! Bruce, The roadway display is not finished, there will be a curb and side drain etc. The stones are from the cork sheets that you put in shelves etc, and they come in different thicknesses. Just cut them to shape, glue them down to a base, rough them up, paint to taste, then use plaster mixed with some fine sand to fill the cracks.
