  1. I did them with a brush and some humbrol satin coal black. You can find that progress wayyyy back on like page 3. I never thought of the Goodyear writing on the tires so that was clever. The factory center cap emblems are on them too so they look " factory". I think once it's all together it's gonna be killer
  2. I may take a stab at replicating the terra cuda
  3. This one has not seen much love. I got some judge sheets and I got beat by my own stuff so is it really skunked? Lol And this And this one. It's had the most work done but it's all subtle and maybe they didn't notice. It's one of my favorite street rods I've done. Looks good on my shelf. That's all that matters to me
  4. Those look good. Compliments what I did quite well?
  5. What!! Chevy craft has a mopar on the cover? I better get a lotto ticket. Things are changing
  6. Where are the wheels from?
  7. That will look sharp! Mine is based off a pic I saw on the web. Everything on the whole car will be a type of black. Gloss/ satin/ flat. With just a hint of red or orange here or there.
  8. Good start! Any idea on paint? Here's what I have in the works
  9. Yes I do have one. I just gotta find it! I will track it down and snap some pics. If you want it you can have it
  10. I have one too. It needs a bit of work but if you want it...
  11. Nice model! Why they were never offered in white in 70 is beyond me. They look good
  12. I will see if I can get some. He is retired but it's in his shop still. It's basically all Pete and like I said it's very close to the one on that kit box
  13. Marmon modified trucks from kenworth, western star, freightliner and peterbilt. A guy up here has one he bought new in mid 80s and it looks just like the Pete on that box. (Different paint) of course so I don't know why you guys are getting all worked up. They were basically a coach builder and you could get whatever you wanted. True piece of trucking history
  14. Coming along great! I also replace my driveshafts with aluminum. I use styrene u joints and pop them in the ends.
  15. Ya, I'm pretty sure you are jumping the gun on this. He is a good guy with a busy career. This is a hobby and you WILL get your stuff. I'm sure others here will echo this but do what you have to do
  16. Keep going! I love it
  17. They are Holley. I just checked
  18. Wow! I dig this. Must be killing you to have those skinny rear tires on it! ?
  19. Few more mockup pics. Think it should look good!
  20. Finally had a little time at the bench. Got some purple on the chassis. A little detail painting on it and it will be time to start building a roller
  21. I know what I would pay for it. My thought is I would give a donation to the museum and have them display it there. So, to clarify. I buy it but donate purchase and model to museum
