Great looking paint color and finish, the flames add to the look as well. Like how you detailed the chassis and interior. The open painted wheels look good here.
  2. I enjoyed watching your attention to details on your build and the addition of the lighting adds another level of realism to your build. The California Special models of the Mustang looked so much better than the standard coupes of the day. The colors and finishes give this a very realistic look. Always special to build a model of a car or truck that you previously owned and appreciated.
  3. Thank you for sharing. So many great cars. The Grand Travers Bay area has been a favorite vacation spot for us for many years. Rent a cottage on the Old Mission Peninsula and tour the Wineries and enjoy all the fine restaurants.
  4. Like the design. Much better than your average Bel Air interior.
  5. Yes and no. Wheels on a car or truck often set the look and are an expression of the owner's taste. These wouldn't be my first choice either, but it's the owner's and as long as he's happy with them who am I to say they are good or bad.
  6. Great find. I snagged a few trade ins when I was in the business. Hard to find one this well cared for.
  7. Great looking truck and looks much like they did at the time. As Can-Con, Steve, pointed out that's the way they were including the ill-fitting hood from the factory. I had to go under the hood on a few of these years ago. One hood hinge would want to work, and the other didn't. You had to wiggle them a little as you lifted the hood, and you had better have eaten your Wheaties that morning because they weren't light. You did capture the look of the truck and the 3x2 was a popular thing to do at one time. The colors all look like the original and the stance and the wide white walls look good.
  8. Great looking paint and stripping finishes. Like the stance.
  9. Beautiful looking paint finish and CHP markings. Very realistic looking chassis as well.
  10. You would never know the fight the body gave you. All the body lines look great, and the paint color and finish go well together.
  11. Smooth looking body work and a good-looking color.
  12. Great detailing like this can't be rushed.
  13. My father had a saying, "To soon old too late smart". I have found the older I have gotten the more I realize just how smart he was.
  14. Sounds like he may be a slow learner about what it costs to maintain an older car. Hopefully he will someday wakeup to how dear old Dad was trying to teach him. Maybe even before he's in the same position with his own son.
  15. The different lighting even changes the color of the model. Great looking paint finish and body trim. Like the unusual subject not many really know that much about the Hudson.
  16. Like the color and finish. Well detailed engine. Great stance and wheels & tires.
  17. Looks like you nailed the look. Besides the fur finish the shape looks correct as well. Like the interior treatment as well.
  18. Your right about the sinister look. Great looking body trim and the red tail stripes.
  19. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The engine detailing is very realistic looking. I remember that interior option, it wasn't cheap.
  20. This paint finish is about as smooth as it gets. The engine detailing along with the body trim and chassis all look great.
  21. Looks sort of like the old California Department of Forestry color, usually with a light gray roof, but they may have found that option to pricy when you're buying so many vehicles.
  22. I have found several different size storage units at Wall Mart as well as some home supply-based supply stores. There are some with pull out drawers that can even be divided into additional compartments. These are usually in a "Tupperware" type material and pretty reasonably priced.
  23. The one doctor who sent me to have the therapy was real interested in how it would heal and had follow up visits about my finger. I think he was as surprised by what they did as I was pleased with the outcome.
  24. Not all automotive rubber hoses work well with all the different petroleum-based products used in cars and trucks. Best to verify with the parts supplier that the type of hose they are selling you will work in your application.
