  1. Great looking paint color and finish. The plus sized Rally Wheels & tires give it a real modern look. The design of this kit with the separate front fenders and the Drag Race options makes it hard to keep the body looking stock.
  2. Beautiful looking paint finishes and trim. The color combination with the interior looks rich. The big block looks clean and just does fit under the hood. Like the wheel & tire setup and the window swamp cooler.
  3. Great looking build and like the paint and vinyl roof. The interior looks very original to the '65 Impala SS.
  4. Clean looking trim and paint work.
  5. Like the wheels & tires.
  6. Great looking build. Like the clean looking finishes.
  7. Like the unusual body style. The front-end design shares a striking resemblance to the rear-end of a '58 Impala.
  8. First, very impressive build. For the hydraulic system for the bed the internet may be your friend searching for a system for that. When this real truck was new, I was servicing some of these 1/2-ton pickups with just such a conversion. There was more than one company doing these conversions and I'm sure somewhere out there you will be able to find some pictures. As I remember them, they would usually use one ram but have seen dual ram setups. They were mounted between and parallel to the frame. Your tailgate latches are close to what GM was using at the time and look great. Are thinking of providing any type of support for the tailgate when lowered?
  9. Great job in the winter months, might be a little uncomfortable working in those conditions in the summer.
  10. I just need to know when and where to show up with money in my hot little hand to get one.
  11. Beautiful paint design, color and finish. The Ansen style wheels look good as an era correct wheel style.
  12. Another great looking GTO. Like the color combination and the stance.
  13. Beautiful looking paint and body trim. Like the engine detailing.
  14. Tamiya TS-26 Pure White is what I would suggest. i know its a Ford, but this is what that color looks like.
  15. Great looking Jeep. Like the realistic looking finishes.
  16. Looking around the forum you may notice a few builders, myself included on a F-100 started in the '60's, that have found old forgotten half finished projects and with maybe some new found skills or ideas are finishing them. More than one has risen from nothing but spare parts.
  17. Like the hood scoops and the stance.
  18. The finish looks pretty nice in the photos. Depending on how smooth the paint surface is, maybe even try some polishing with Tamiya polishing compound or some comparable product. Micro Fiber towel or a baby diaper, preferable empty, as an applicator and polishing.
  19. A cry for attention? At least this is better than those with to many load speakers at full blast. you can always just look away.
  20. Sounds like you may also have a Chrysler product. Our last two Dodge Chargers don't even have a transmission dip stick. Bought a so called universal flexible dip stick that came with an instruction booklet that listed what the readings should be depending on the vehicle and which model transmission it was equipped with. I was surprised at the large number of both domestic and imported cars listed. How much money could these manufacturers really be saving by leaving out a dip stick? Rather than allowing someone spending a considerable amount of their earnings buying their product to check their own oil if they desire and instead you go to a dealership and have one of the lowest paid members of their service department do it. They can't even change the engine oil and filter with out dribbling oil all over the engine cover and not even try and wipe it off.
  21. Where can someone buy one of these. We plant flowers and the Rabbits think it's their salad bar or something.
  22. That will keep the rodent population in check.
  23. Very realistic looking landscape and the story explains it all.
  24. Ya that probably came out of the '60 Ford kit and the teeth I think would have been one of the custom options that was offered.
