  1. Looks great, sorry to hear about your paint issues, but they aren't visible in the pictures. I like the Miller Beer signage.
  2. Great looking classic. What paint did you use for the Metal Flake finish?

    Edsel Roundup

Great looking wagon. Despite the bad jokes of the time, I always thought the Edsel was a good-looking styling. Nice color combination and a smooth paint finish.
  4. Beautiful looking cars and a great looking setting. Something about old XK Jags lights my fire.
  5. I like the Art Deco design and don't recall seeing anything this nice on his TV program before. This styling looks like many of the commercial vehicles built in the late twenties and thirties.
  6. First off, you have a beautiful looking El Camino. I'm also a big fan of these cars and my Avtar is of my '67 from many years ago. I think it was AMT that offered a '69 maybe and has been reissued by Round 2 with a Soap Box Dubry Car in it. AMT also offered a '70 Chevelle SS 454 kit at one time. Maybe if you can combine these two kits to get what you're after.
  7. Being new decals, you wouldn't expect problems. That said if you're impatient when soaking them before installation I have messed up more than a few. I would look at some of the tutorials on the forum from others for suggestions for using and applying decals.
  8. Grteat looking truck, almost too nice for plow duty. The plow looks well detailed.
  9. Great looking build, like the paint combination.
  10. Great clean looking body trim. Unusually bright color for this car, but it sure looks good.

    VW Beetle

Like the bright color and the lowered stance. Hard to find wide-five wheels and these add a lot of realism.

    Mini hearse

Great body conversion and the paint looks smooth. I like the wheels you used.
  13. Beautiful looking coupe. Getting the grill and the hood to align can be a challenge on this one. The paint looks nice and smooth, and the green pin striping makes a great compliment to the overall appearance.

    67 Corvette

Striking looking paint color and finish. Enjoyed watching all the details you put into the interior and the drive line.
  15. Like yourself, there are more than a few builders that achieve great success mixing different brands and in some case types of paints. On the other hand, we see builders often posting that they are having a painting issue of some sort and it seems that just as often there are different paints involved. This is the reason for my suggestion.
  16. No matter which red paint you decide on remember the basic primer color will have an effect on the appearance of the topcoat. I would suggest either a good white primer or one of the red primers that are offered by different paint suppliers. I would also try and stay with one brand of paint from the primer all the way to the last clear coat of paint. This should minimize any interaction between the paint products.
  17. I like the paint finish and the well-used overall appearance.
  18. The body mods really look great, and they follow the flow of the body shape. The interior features do look futuristic. I like the way the wheels look.
  19. Cleanly detailed trim and engine. I always liked that shade of green that GM offered at that time.

    Chezoom

Nice paint color for this Kustom. Very cleanly done.

    General Lee 2.0

I like the stance and the wheel style was very popular at the time.
  22. Great looking paint color and finish. Like the stripes.
  23. Looks great still and the color gives a nice contrast to the black trim.

    34 Ford Street Rod

Great looking color combination and paint finish. Realistic looking stance. Just enough off the top.
