  1. Going to turn pro-am soon?
  2. For those who may not realize some of the side effects of the prescribed meds that we take as we get older, read the possible side effects that the pharmacy lists on their paperwork. Cholesterol and high Blood Pressure Meds often have weight gain as one of the side effects. Thyroid and Testosterone Meds can cause ankles and feet to sweal as well. You have to be brave to get old and live with the side effects. Not all pot guts are the fault of the owners.
  3. Truely creative looking. So many different design elements and somehow, they just seem to belong together. A lot of fine details to look at and it takes a little while to notice everything that has been done. Very realistic looking finishes.
  4. This is a great kit from long ago. Look forward to seeing what you do with it.
  5. Great looking build and I like the working dump bed. Pretty paint color and finish. The exhaust stacks are perfect on this, and I like the heat shields you did on them.
  6. Great looking work truck. The box rack and all the painted trim looks just as one would remember.
  7. Great job back dating this build. The color looks like what you would have seen on a good basic work truck and the trim as well.
  8. Great looking build and I like the color combination with the interior colors. You sound disappointed with the kit but remember this was "State of the art" at that time. You did a great job of detailing the trim and adding the Continental Kit looks very timely.
  9. They both are great looking builds and show how the same kit can look so different depending on how it is built.
  10. Amazing looking paint finish. The wood trim looks great. I like the stock Flathead idea.
  11. Great looking build. Can't even imagine what it would be like to build something this small. I lose parts bigger than this doing 1/25th stuff.
  12. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like the engine detailing and the interior.
  13. I agree with the others about no decals. I like the less is more look. The big if is if you want to do the decals, I would suggest the black ones. My reasoning is that the black stripes would go with the interior color and you mentioned the white ones were not aging well. Sometimes you can get to many colors going on with body, interior, and striping.
  14. Great looking paint finish and color. I like how your taillights and exhaust turned out. The taillight issue seems to be with every Corvette kit.
  15. I saw one of these new Mustangs today in the market parking lot. I didn't realize what it was, and didn't particularly care, but the horse in the middle of where the grill should have been caught my eye. This looked like a substantial sized 4 door sedan not at all like a crossover or what ever those things are. They should have called it an LTD and it would have been more fitting of a name for the size of vehicle and the general shape of it.
  16. Nice save. The painted bumpers will look better anyway.
  17. Beautiful looking paint finish and remember seeing this color often back then. Clean looking trim and moldings. I notice the cab lights. I know these were done differently in different states because of vehicle codes but don't recall ever seeing them done in this fashion.
  18. Like the tone-on-tone paint treatment. Nice stance.
  19. Great looking paint finish and goes well with the white interior.
  20. Great looking fabrication work. I noticed the but joint on the frames and hope you have them reinforced internally. The dump bed looks very realistic, and I like the exhaust stacks.
  21. This is just to cool. What a fun looking build.
  22. Your build seems to be coming along well. You mentioned the size of the body compared to the Torino. One thing to remember about these Batman Cars is that the original was based on a Lincoln Continental chassis that was about as big as it got at that time. The kit manufactures may just be trying to keep things to scale.
  23. I'm not a fan of DD either, but not to run them down, just not the way I like my donuts done. This may have to do with the way the local DD's make them, but I think they use entirely too much grease for my taste anyway.
  24. Great looking paint finish and color. The thing that I notice the most is what you don't notice. That is the roof section being separate from the body and where they meet is hard to hide the way this kit body is designed. But you just don't see that point where they meet in these pictures.
  25. Defiantly looks up to date with the new suspension set up. Was the wood graining on the main carriage part of the kit or something you did? That would be a very strange sensation hanging off the front end and going into a drift.
