  1. Great looking paint work and I like the red tail stripes. Nice engine and chassis detailing.
  2. You can easily make a coil out of some plastic tubing.
  3. I think it was Model Master that used to offer an interior fabric spray paint. The two colors I recall were a darker beige color and also in a gray. The hard part would be finding it. I used to get it at Hobby Lobby and since they don't thro anything away there may be a store that still has some old stock. There is always E Bay or maybe even some online model suppliers might still have some. The finish does look very much like a cloth interior.
  4. I seem to share your stature and back issues. I know we are in different market places but maybe there is someone in your area that offers something like we have used for years. Here beds and bedding is offered in what is called a "California King". This is a bed that is not as wide as a normal king size but is longer. The bed we have also has inflatable chambers that can be adjusted with a remote control.
  5. I have to agree with those that point out the roof issue on this kit. Reminds me of a resin caster that adds B pillar to a hardtop body and casts it as a sedan. That said I'm still thankful that this is finally coming to market and do look forward to building more than a few. Should the body issue still bother someone just look at the treasure trove of parts in this kit.
  6. Beautiful looking truck. I like how you mixed and matched parts to create the truck of your dreams.
  7. Great looking truck. All of the added trim and light bar go a long way to add to the look of this build.
  8. You sure brought this a long way. Great looking RR.

    68 Hemi Dart

Smooth looking paint work and nice shade of orange. Looks more street able than drag centric.

    AMT 66 Nova SS

Great looking Nova. I like the color you went with. Nice engine detailing.
  11. Beautiful looking paint work and a great color for this era Impala. I remember the nice interior from your build on this one. Clean looking body trim.
  12. Great creativity on the body styling. I like the paint work as well. Could also pass for a hover craft of some sort.

    71 cuda

Great looking convertible. Nice color and finish.
  14. Great looking long roof. Besides the nice paint work all of the chrome trim looks real clean and the little window decals add more than you would think to the overall look. Stans and wheels really make wheels go a long way here.
  15. Beautiful looking classic. All of your detailing made an otherwise ho hum kit into something very special in deed.
  16. I never realized GM offered assembly line dump trucks. I always thought these were cab/chassis and then dealer installed specialty beds installed by end user.
  17. I would save those for ever. I also have a few dating from the late '50's thru the mid '60's. These are from a time when I was using them on almost a daily basis and they were invaluable for torque specs and clearances on almost any part of a car or truck. You may not use them now, but remember a lots of the information in these is accurate and a lot can be learned if working on some repair you're not performing on a daily bases.
  18. Another option to consider. The Revell '69 Camaro Z-28 kit with the blue Z-28 on the box has a cross ram duel quad setup for the optional Z-28 engine. This includes a couple of nice Holly carbs and a chrome oblong air cleaner. You may have to do a little sanding to get the angles where the intake meets the heads and block. These seem to come up as sale items often and are a treasure trove of goodies.
  19. The first thing I notice after the rear wheel well openings being changed is that the overall look the body seems lighter or slimmer in the rear quarters. These cars always looked great but a little heavy in the rear. Amazing how such a small change can alter the overall look of the body.
  20. Looks like a great show. I always kind of liked the Packard Hawks front end since it was so different from any other cars at that time. Not making fun of the grill but it does remind me of a Cat Fish's mouth.
  21. Mods please delete this double post. Thank you.
  22. Such a wide range of styles, that's what makes a show like this special.
  23. I like that, "Rubbish" is a very apt description.
  24. I like all the extra body work you did with the spoiler in front. The added goodies in the back look great as well. Beautiful looking paint and color. The 454 looks almost OEM.
