Foose FD-100 MOON shop truck....

Beautiful looking finishes and colors. Every pickup has to have a "pull toy" and this one is perfect. Having owned two different '56 F-100's in the past I'm more than a little partial to them. -

Well-deserved awards for this build. I was pleased to see this pop up this morning on the forum. The attention to detail and finishes look like someone who may have been involved with one of these great little pickups. -
I used Tamiya TS-18 Red Mt. and Clear.

Beautiful paint color and finish. Like the interior color as well.
-
Great looking paint color and trim combination. Like how the interior complements the tail stripe. Nice engine and chassis detailing.

Progress or stupidity? You decide...
espo replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
In the late '60's I worked with a couple of guys who were also in the Air Force at a base near San Bernardino Ca. We were talking on night about the headlights on our cars and my '67 El Camino, while having 4-headlights, left a lot to be desired for nighttime driving when out in the countryside. The next night this one guy said he had something for me, and he had this big smile on his face and said try these. He handed me two landing lights that they used on the wings of some light aircraft. The only problem, besides the CHP taking a rather dim view of my activity, was the reflectors on the back side of the mile markers on the side of the road when the lights hit them the reflection would make you want to look away. Heaven help the guy that didn't dim his headlights in an oncoming car though. -
Poor guy is probably stressed that his family has left him. They don't always understand that this is a visit and not an abandonment situation.

Trucks I’d like to build😎

I'd like to know the manufacturer of the bus being towed. -
Maybe I'll try some of my old WD40 next time.
-
Outstanding paint color and great smooth finish. Like the side exhaust. T-Tops, beyond the leaks the loss of structure rigidity the noises that they make can be unnerving.

The engine detailing looks great and like the dual carbs. Maybe split the exhaust manifold as well?

There are some bug sprays available at the home box stores that has a battery-operated spray attachment and a good 10 foot in the air range. They used to try and hide in our roll up blind on the back patio. Not anymore.

Great looking pictures and show, thank you for sharing your pictures.

Beautiful paint finish and colors. Clean body chrome. Like the engine and chassis detailing.
-
Great looking body fit with all the work on the tilt front end. Like the smooth paint finish and color. What was the source of your wheels and tires?
-
Converting the body trim to the more often found 500 XL trim level looks great. The paint color and finish are beautifully done. This would have been a fun driver with the high strung 271 hp 289 cu in and a 4-speed. Nice looking interior detailing.

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. Like the well detailed engine.
-
All three of these have beautiful and realistic looking finishes and textures. Amazing attention to detail. We can only hope that Round 2 has these molds and maybe if they saw your builds they would consider reissuing these kits.

Great looking color combination and finish. All the stock chrome trim looks cleanly done. Like the bumpers without the bumper guards.
