  1. Did a model of a Chevy Prototype, in my mind anyway, with the W engine. I had to install the engine after the body was mounted on the frame for just the reason you're running into now.
  2. Great looking attention to engine and interior details.
  3. Most people today are too young to remember just how well built and long lasting these cars were.
  4. Do you know how much they were asking for this. Had a new '72 Nova SS350 4 speed and it was one of those you always regrate selling.
  5. We leased the GMC version of this model back then. Never missed a beat and was a great handling car as well. Only issue had to do with an assembly line problem. My wife said she would be driving down the highway and the power seat would suddenly try and nail her to the steering wheel, she's 5'10'. Never happened to me but I had the dealer look at it. Seems that the wiring for the power seat was routed wrong and under some conditions when driving the wiring was grounding or something and it would activate the power seat motor and go full forward. Nothing after that was fixed.
  6. We saw this pulling out of the school parking lot as we were leaving. I still find it hard to believe someone would pay that much for a vehicle that looks like someone built it in their garage out of leftover sheets of metal.
  7. And I used to be one of those that thought annual vehicle inspections was as overreaction. Along with an owner competence test they seem like something to be considered.
  8. Great looking paint color and finish. Like the engine details here.
  9. I have enjoyed your body creations and the way you build them.
  10. Great looking paint work and tail stripes. The picture of the engine looks like you have that detailing pretty well figured out. The chrome body trim is an area that there are many ways to do. While I'm sort of a chrome foil type, I have seen many builders here that use different type of spray paint with amazing looking finishes. Maybe try a couple of different styles of detailing the chrome trim and see what works best for you.
  11. Beautiful paint colors and finishes. Like how the chrome trim is cleanly done.
  12. Great looking paint finishes and cleanly detailed.
  13. Beautiful paint finishes and detailing. The extra detailing you added really adds realism to the appearance. I had never considered this kit before since I usually build '50's and '60's types. I'll have to reconsider that after seeing this build.
  14. So many great visions of the '32 Ford and like the different finishes.
  15. Beautiful looking use of color and finishes. I like the attention to the fine detailing of the interiors and drive trains on your builds.
  16. All beautiful looking finishes and cleanly detailed. I like your variety of build subjects.
  17. Wish someone would offer a new UpToDate version of these square body trucks. As a former owner of both a '74 and a '79 short bed step side body style I'd be a buyer for a few.
  18. Beautiful paint color and finish. Amazing fabrication work.
  19. Amazing body fabrication and I like the paint treatment. I think Chip would appreciate this as well.
  20. Your right about that, the pictures don't really show just how nice it is. By the way, this is a 1959 model Impala if it makes any difference.
  21. Great looking original owner vehicle.
  22. Great looking subjects and their finishes.
  23. Great looking builds and the kind that make me smile. The old guy in the roadster even has my beard and hair style. The trashy looking Flintstones are also special.
  24. Beautiful looking paint finishes. The Aircraft Carrier looks great as well.
