Thanks. That is a great looking part. I like your avatar. Maybe someone will offer something like this here.

Can't recall ever seeing this kit before. The finish looks great.

See what happens when you let your imagination run wild. This is a great looking Rat Rod or what ever classification you want to hang on it. Hard to do since it's so unique.

Very cool. This could have happened back then if someone would have thought about it.

Great looking patina. The little I can see of the interior looks nice. Tell me about your Sun Visor. It looks like a yellow tinted glass.

Sounds great. I like the old "Coke Bottle" Americans.

This summer you should try and cool off with a drink I recall from when I thought I could drink it faster than they made it, I was wrong. The drink was called Long Island Ice Tea. About the only thing that will render you defenseless quicker would be a Brass Monkey. Don't ask how I know, just take my word for it.

There are many in society that are opposed to guns at any level. The Constitution grants use the right to bare arms. If a citizen doesn't feel comfortable doing that then we should respect their right to for go ownership of a gun. But we also need to respect the rights of those that due. With gun ownership comes a tremendous responsibility in all of the safety aspects of gun ownership. A visit to the Shooting Range from time to time is always a good experience along with the proper cleaning, storing, and securing your fire arm so that someone that shouldn't be handling a gun doesn't have accesses to it. That's kind of a cute looking Cap Gun. I like that they painted it a color that shouldn't be mistaken for the real thing.

Great job bring this one back. I like the dark blue except it tends to hide some of the body lines when photographed. All you need now is some Angle Hair, Mirrors, and one of those lights with the rotating disc with different colored lenses.

Paint Strippers - What to Use?
espo replied to pbj59's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
For myself Super Clean has become the go to striper for several years. In the past I have used Easy Off Oven Cleaner with good success removing the paint, not sure about the lung damage from the fumes but there seems to be no lasting effects. Looking at the pictures and the way the paint came off of the body, I had never seen that type of reaction before. I use Tamiya paints for the most part but often use others depending on the color and finish I'm wanting. The one thing I have noticed is that the gray Tamiya primer hangs on tight to the body and there White primer not so much. I would be interested to know if others have had the paint come off in sheets like your Plymouth did. -
How sad.

Thank you for all the great pictures.

Good that you may be getting some bench time again. I like your build style. The Aerowagon Corvette is an unusual color, and the Petty version is a beautiful looking Blue. I especially like the Jeeps. The trail ready on especially. We have an '09 JK in the garage with the Skid Plates half worn thru.

Very nice Mustang. The paint has a lot of sparkle to it. I like the stance and your wheel choice.

Revell 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS (USA made) kit build.
espo replied to addicted2modeling's topic in WIP: Model Cars
The chassis is very nicely done. Your shocks seem to be going thru the floor. Was this the way the kit was set up or something you did because of the lowered suspension ?? -
I would mock up everything and just see if you even have a problem before cutting the wheel wells. The picture depicts a car with wheel wells that have been enlarged . Most race sanctioning bodies required the tires to be within the body or fenders. This can change according to the class the car is designed to run in. Since you intend to use the larger tires from the Dragster you may have to do a little surgery on the wheel opening. As I recall this kit already has the narrowed frame and differential. You may be abele to make some small adjustments with the rear end to get the larger tires on and stay within the fenders. Another option would be to flare the rear wheel openings slightly. Either way please keep use posted on your build.

Thank you for sharing. I'm always impressed by the variety as well as the quality of these builds. The big rigs get a lot of attention and the level of detail is outstanding. I could spend hours studying the dioramas.

The things that bother me while grocery shopping. #1 Women that park there carts in the middle of the isle turned sideways roadblock fashion then wonder off down the isle, and don't you dare try and move their cart they start trying to say you're trying to steal their purses. #2 People who fall into a trans while looking at the shelves. #3 People standing with the door wide open in the frozen food area. They stand there so long the windows all fog up and you can't even see in and half of what's there has thawed out. #4 Women who think it's just fine to jump into the 8 to 10 item line with their cart overflowing because THEY are in a hurry and NO ONE else is as important as they are. #5 People who park their cars in the lot much the way they park their carts in the isles. They look more like they were abandoned than parked. Did you know that it is possible to get a Prius to cover parts of three parking spots ?? I have seen it done more than once.

Very nice looking 300. Is that the kit grill or did you rework it ?? Now all you need is one of the Charger kits to complete your Mopar garage.

Very nice, I like the wide white walls.
