  1. I see you snuck a Big Block Chevy in here. I like the way the rear suspension drupes from the added weight of the utility boxes. You have a serious Headache Rack in the bed.
  2. AS always I love your weathering on your builds. You can almost hear the body rusting from here.
  3. A convertible would be nice, but I'd like to see a Wagon and or an El Camino also.
  4. Beautiful looking build. In the pictures the color looks a little darker than PP but in a good way. Back then this was considered a girly color. I'll bet that more Mopar models have been built with PP than Mother Mopar built back in the day. I guess when your packing a Hemi you can be any In Your Face Color you want to be.

    69 Camaro Z/28

    Great looking Z-28.
  6. I enjoy watching you layout the tape patterns.
  7. Great looking interior and engine. The Gold color goes well with the black interior.
  8. You're off to a good start on this. I also like the dashboard. Ya once you start "pinning" your builds you will wonder how you ever got by before.
  9. This should be an enjoyable build for you. The kit your starting with looks to be of good quality and that will help.
  10. Loved the 1:1 El Camino. The color looks nice, what all do you have planed for the interior and drive train ?
  11. The 'C' pillar and rear window sure remind me of a '50's Studebaker.
  12. This would be a great start, but you would need to hang upside down while spray painting. LOL
  13. Excellent looking paint and body trim. Very impressive plumbing and wiring thru out.
  14. List your needs under the Trading Post or Needed on the forum and I think you'll have better luck finding what you need.
  15. Is this something new, a reissue maybe. When AMT first offered these '55's in 1/16th scale they had a hardtop as well. I still have the '57 Thunderbird that I built when they were first offered. As I recall there was also a '57 Bel Air Hardtop in that series.
  16. Have you recently dusted your painting area ?? There're many possibilities for dust to gather in your paint area. I would start by using a Wet Wipe or something similar to wipe down your spray booth. Next is the general area dusty and why ? Could be nothing more than a little general house keeping of the area where you are painting. I have heard many say to never ware a flannel shirt anywhere that you are painting. The suggestion is that the static electricity and the particles from the shirt will be attracted to what ever you may be painting. This is the time of year when you would generally have lower humidity levels and that can also be a cause. One tip off on that would be if you are walking around on a carpeted floor and get a shock if you touch a light switch or someone else for that matter. Just some thoughts I hope may help.
  17. I remember watching you build the '70 Impala and enjoyed all that you did with the paint. Look forward to another one of your experiments.
  18. I have been using an expandable spice rack from BB&B and it fits against the back of my roll top and extends between the hang down drawers. I also have been using one of their plastic/rubber cutting boards for a work surface and with the small drip catch around the edge nothing rolls off the work area.
  19. Looks like a good DIY project so far.
  20. Give a guy a break this is still in the test fit stage anyway.
  21. A real eye catching exterior color combination. Your wheel and tire selection should look great.
  22. Nice looking paint work. I like the red line tires and wheels. The stance looks a little nose high, but pictures may have been taken before the engine was installed. What do you have in mind for the interior ?
  23. The wife was off today and suggested we go to breakfast and go shopping. She know she has me at eating breakfast out. So we roll out of the garage and the car shows the temp as it was inside the garage. The dash said it was 48 and by the time I got about four blocks from our house it settled at 14. besides the overcast sky's the wind is blowing at 15 to 20 mph, so ya it was a little cold this morning.

Great looking build. I like the way you detailed the engine and all the other under hood components. The side trim is as shinny as the bumpers. Those wheels look perfect on this car, not so much on the '56 Chevy.
  25. Great looking dioramas. I appreciate any pictures you can share. Besides looking at all the fine builds it is always interesting to see what others are building.
