  1. Great looking Camaro. Very clean with great under hood detail wiring. The body looks smoother without the rear spoiler.
  2. Beautiful build. I see now what you meant about the windows.
  3. Great rebuild on this. I agree with the others, very creative photography, in some pictures it looks very real.
  4. What a lucky find on the old AMT kit. The '58 Bonneville was the best looking Luxo Cruiser from GM. Look forward to watching your build.
  5. This whole thing gets better. I wanted to service my transmission as the car had almost 60k miles and it started to shift differently. The dealer's Service Department and the Owner's Manual says 100k for service. In the past I have always serviced (oil & filter) my auto trans vehicles at 40k to 50k. There is two different transmissions for this model and nobody could tell me which one I had. I bought both service kits and ended up taking the one I didn't use back to the parts store. I have one very big advantage over the average guy trying to take care of there car, I have a four post 7500 lb. lift in my garage. As someone who has always serviced my own vehicles and we usually have had three or four cars and only three slots in the garage I managed to convince my wife this was a must have, and she agreed. Changing the oil was a real treat on this Charger. The plastic "skid plate" is just time consuming is all, but no drain plug on the pan turned into a mess as you can imagine. Once the sump was off the transmission everything else was straight forward and no problems except when it came time to fill the transmission. Remember the two different listed transmissions, universal cable to measure oil level. The kit I used called for only four quarts of oil ? and the other required six quarts. I drained well over four quarts. Doing the refill I would start the engine after the four quarts and run it thru the gears and it didn't even show any oil on the cable. I kept adding oil until it showed full using five quarts. It shifts much better but it shudders on the 2-3 shift with less than 2000 rpm. Any higher rpm it work perfect. I love the car but I'm afraid I might not reach my usual 100k plus usage.
  6. The windows ??
  7. I have been mad at Fiat/Chrysler since late 2010. I am one of those who check fluids and tire pressure and such, particularly when the temp changes. The reason I'm upset is that your 2010 Charger doesn't have a transmission dip stick. The service manager told me it was for their techs to better care for my car ??????? They don't offer a dip stick that I could purchase and the only thing I could find was a universal cable/dip stick. This thing is more than two feet long with a flat piece on the end with a bunch of numbers. You take the reading on the stick and compare it to a chart included with the universal dip stick. There are several cars listed most of them built in Europe so this must be a wide spread problem. My next new car will have to have easy to check fluids or I'm not buying it.
  8. We always have enjoyed his music. My wife and I used Pandora last night to play as much of his music as possible on the deck and annoyed the neighbors.
  9. Beautiful build. Great engineering on the chassis and body. Color looks just like the factory colors of the day. That rig would go where ever you pointed it.
  10. If you have one of the AMT 3 in 1 Ford Galaxy hardtop kits they have the manifold and carbs you need. Pegasus offers some great Chrome Reverse Wheels.
  11. Beautiful '53. I would like to see more of these built. All the period correct accessories.

    C-7

Very clean build inside and out. I like the dark blue color.
  13. I like this a lot. I had the good fortune to live in the Pismo Beach Ca. area in the mid 70's and this would have been a common sight in the dunes. The engineering is dead on and the air cleaners are the newer K&N type filters. We used to use what was little more than a thin sponge rubber "sock type" filter with oil sprayed on it to keep the sand out. The front tires would be very narrow since the wide tires would just skip over the sand and you wouldn't be able to turn. Your center roll bar from the main hoop to the front "knee" bar is just the way mine was.
  14. I don't recall this model either, but it sure looks perfect to me. Paint and finish is perfect.
  15. Very clean build. Were you able to get the doors to work or did you glue them shut like I had to do ??
  16. Outstanding color choice. When had a neighbor who had an Edsel when I was young. My father always had some rude jokes about the car, but I thought they looked good.
  17. Beautiful paint. That is really DOWN in front. You approach drive ways at an angle one front tire at a time, don't ask how I know. I enjoy seeing a really proper Flathead like this.

    Little Cobra

Well detailed interior and engine compartment.
  19. Beautiful build. I like your idea of the sales brochure for the display case.
  20. The dash looks perfect. Would they have painted the steering wheel spokes blue or is that something you wanted to do ??
  21. Killer looking build.
  22. Very nice pair. I like the roadster vent windows on the coupe.
  23. Very clean well built O.O.B. build. Great paint job.
  24. Great looking Gasser. One of my personal all time favorite kits. How did you create the hood ? Did you use the front axle from the '57 Wagon or something else ?
  25. Great build. It looks just like the real car.
