  1. Great detail work on the engine and suspension. The interior is very realistic looking.
  2. Amazing build. The top is the first thing you notice and that in its self would makes this outstanding. Then you see the glove box, and the hood hinges. I just have to ask, what station is the radio playing??
  3. Do you have Dish, Direct TV or Cable ?? Just looking at Jack Nicholson's picture is going to keep me up tonight. Any of the Jason Born movies on cable tonight ??
  4. Beautiful clean build. The color choices really work well together.
  5. You're off to a great start on this Nova. I was watching the local news here this evening. They were showing the storm in your area. You's guys are getting hammered.
  6. I like the duel blowers. Man that's a looong wheelbase.
  7. Doesn't AMT offer an AAR 'Cuda with the Six-Pack ??
  8. What type of vehicle are you attracted to ?? Maybe a make or model that you wish you could own, sometimes this can give you additional interest as to how the build will go. Or just find something that you just would never associate with Pro Touring, sort of "in your face" type of car.
  9. Years ago I discovered a method to tell when a Politician is lying. Watch them very carefully, when you their lips start to move you'll know their lying.
  10. This reminds me of on of the Top Gear shows where they were in Greenland I believe. The "Orangutan" drove off with James May still in the seated position on the back of a modified Toyota truck.

    1948 Ford

Thank you Bo Thank you Dave, glad you liked it.
  12. What a beautiful looking classic. Nice and clean and the colors are just a little understated as they should be.
  13. Great looking Squad. It's always interesting to see the different color combinations used by Law Enforcement. I know that Michigan uses the "stop" sign on the hood and I guess there are others, but when you're not used to seeing it it kind of stands out. I'm used to looking for "Slick Tops" in white or black with a small shield on the door. The sneaky guys sit in the center median where the grass is tall.
  14. Beautiful build. The only trouble now is your friend is really going to cry. Can't say for sure on the wheel color. Maybe you could swear his wife to secrecy and see if she has an old picture to verify wheel color. I think Oldsmobile offered a couple of options on wheel color. As I recall the standard wheel was what GM called Argent Gray. But depending on trim option I've seen them body colored also. If he had white wheels as you thought it could mean the car was white when new or the wheels may have come from another car. He's going to love it.
  15. All your hard work really shows. The "ageing " looks like it might have been a coastal car that had to sit out in the fog at night.

    AMT 1951 Chevy

Very clean looking build. Looks like a '50's era semi-custom. I like the colors.
  17. That's different. How many sheets of foil did it take. That's a lot of work, can you really cover the inter body panel with one piece at a time??
  18. Why not just remove the roof from the hardtop and just create a vinyl boot cover ?? I think you would refer to it as a cover for the folded convertible top.
  19. The basic kit's tires are close to the OEM 6.70 X 15 tire. I just built a '48 Ford and the tires are a little taller and skinnier than the Chevrolet kits tires. They are supposed to be 6.00 X 16s but maybe you could work with those. Just sand off any unwanted manufacturing names you don't want. These are white walls, but all you would have to do is paint the inserts black. The only draw back is if they didn't fit your wheels because of the inside diameter.
  20. The moldings used on the 1:1 cars are usually very small. This can be a good thing since you can use very small diameter Plastruct. They offer half and quarter round and even some flat pieces. Being very small diameter they are easy to bend as needed and a dash of their Plastic Weld usually is all that is needed to hold them in place.
  21. I like your idea of layering the striping decals. This looks just like some 1:1 styles I have seen. The flat clear actually makes the body look more realistic than the gloss.
  22. Outstanding detail on the interior. The suspension is amazing.
  23. Great looking builds. Four in one month?? You're a building machine.
  24. All great looking builds. I'm very partial to the Camaro.
  25. Great looking build. It really looks like a day at the beach.
