  1. I like the whole Ranchero concept here. Now you get to improve on the chassis and body. The original look good but this is going to be so much better.
  2. Great job on the grill. Interesting to see how this progresses.
  3. Great stance. Interested in the hood. I have used the Cowl Induction hood from the Nova SS kit, but this looks a little different. This is a great kit. I have a personal attachment to these Impalas having owned a new SS back in the day.
  4. You're off to a great start. I like the wheels.
  5. Beautiful build. Excellent engine detailing, even the correct "drupe" of the plug wires.
  6. Do you know if anyone has or is going to post photos of the show ??
  7. Has anyone that you know of posted pictures ??

    AMT 37 Chevy

Very nice looking street rod. Tail lights to be determined. I like the smooth look.
  9. I like the idea. The color combination gives the model a very menacing look.
  10. I think I agree with Wayne on the wheels. Almost a shame to age such a great looking car, but I'm sure you'll make it look correct.
  11. Interesting idea. Now that's a work bench I can relate too.
  12. Revell doesn't offer any real information as to where to glue the body and chassis together. As I recall I glued the leading edge of the front inner fender to the inside of the body along with the sides of the chassis to the inside of the body. I suggest gluing the front inner fenders and the radiator support to the chassis first and allow them to dry for at least 24 hours. I used small adjustable clamps to hold everything in place. After this had made a permanent bond I then glued the side edges of the chassis to the body and again used the adjustable clamps. There is no real area where the rear of the chassis can be glued to the body. This is done by gluing the Rear Bumper part #98 to the body and the chassis to the bumper. That's how I did it anyway. I also would like to know of any better options for the future.
  13. Check in the Aftermarket/Resin area. There are several casters that offer a resin tudor sedan bodies. The roof line is a very different shape from a hardtop.
  14. Another great build. You really have your paint jobs dialed in. Is this based on the Revell or the AMT kit?? The hood just looks like the AMT.
  15. Great Pro Street build. The chassis blends perfectly, and the paint is super smooth.

    '70 Cuda

Great looking build. Nicely detailed engine. "Plum Crazy" was my favorite of the High Impact colors.

    I'm Back!

Great looking build. I have to know where you got the door decals. As a child my parents would ditch me in a summer camp every summer so I wouldn't be underfoot. It just so happens that I was sent to Camp Highlands on Plum Lake in Sayner Wisconsin. The great city of Sayner, at that time, consisted of a Bait and Tackle shop at the landing. Up the hill was the Fire Department and a grocery store that also sold tackle. A small restaurant and two Beer Bars. The town was so small they didn't even have a Stop Sign.
  18. Very interesting concept, but the I think the side intakes where to direct air to cool the rear mounted engine in the Ferrari. With the engine in the front is it really needed other than a styling feature ?? I like how you combined the two dashboards.
  19. Very nice paint finish. I didn't realize that was the old Monogram kit. That makes it that much more impressive.
  20. Plastruct makes quarter and half round stock in various sizes.
  21. The chassis weathering looks very realistic.
  22. You might see if the firewall can be pushed back inside the cowl or even notch the cowl to clear. I have seen where some builders are even creating a flat firewall in place of the kit's.
  23. Looks perfect. All it needs is a load of Mason Jars filled with White Lightening.
  24. Beautiful build. The Cragers always look right on Mopars .
  25. I would never have thought of building a fenderless '40, but it sure looks good. Did you widen the rear portion of the body ??
