  1. This is the second "Never Was" model in my tribute series to the 1/8th scale Monogram models of the 60's . Creating the faux box art was part of the fun ! The Little Drag was created using parts from a Little T and a Boomer Bucket . The tires are Monogram , the rear wheels are from a Li'l Coffin and the front wheels were made by adding trim rings on top of '49 Merc wheels to make the deep steelies .The Chevrolet Script valve covers , headers , blower , scoop , Moon tank , tach and gas pedal came from various kits . The hand brake , shifter , and steering wheel were all scratch built . The roll bar and push bars were formed from polished aluminum rod and I made my own decals using the Big Drag decals as a guide . The finished chassis and everything awaiting final assembly . A few more . Up next the "Little Tub" .
  2. Great looking Fairlady Z ! (Datsun) Saw plenty of these while stationed on Okinawa in the early 70's , this and the 240Z were the best looking of all the Z's .
  3. Beautiful color and great paint job as always !
  4. Ooooo I like those colors !!
  5. Beautiful work , it looks great ! Knocking them out as quick as you can may not be the best way to get experience though . If you take your time and treat each sub-assembly as a finished model you'll learn some patience , which is more important than anything else .
  6. Very nicely done , the black turned out great !
  7. Nicely done ! Great detailing on the engine and interior !
  8. You should be happy with how it turned out . . . it's beautiful !!
  9. Hated these cars when they were new but now like many other cars of that era they seem kind of nice . Great looking model !
  10. I just measured the Revell Cutlass convert and the Revell '69 Camaro convert , the Cutlass is 5/16" wider at the opening in the bodies where the top would go . I don't have the top .
  11. Agreed , this Rat Rod I really like ! Most are rusty pieces that were tacked together in a garage somewhere . Very nice work ! Where did the mesh come from ?
  12. Great use of you spares !
  13. Definitely a cool idea . How 'bout taking it a little further ?
  14. Incredible looking models ! wow .
  15. Looks great Bruce ! It's always nice when a kit goes together like it's supposed to .
  16. Very very nice , clean and super smoooth ! I like the mods and parts you've selected and Mr. Horsepower is a nice finishing touch !
  17. They're all beautiful but those Camaros really are very very nice !

  19. Ghost of the Druid Princess !
  20. Looks great Mike ! Nice to see you did the body color on the headlight buckets and the strip between the taillights and the bumper , most people miss those .
