  2. blue streaks on 1964s thru 1966s Red lines 1st appeared in 1967s on mopars at least. Not sure about other makes
  3. 1966 on C bodies. 1967 on B bodies. Both all chrome. ....trim ring style appearded in 1969
  4. I painted a lindberg caravan several years ago.using a mopar brand spray touch up pearl white I dont remember the primer brand. But nothing i did kept it from being pink once dry

  9. i think the seat pattern is different between 66 and 67. Also. 1966 used blue pinstripe tires. 67 used redlines
  10. the 40s cars typically aren't my thing....... But WOW. I really like this one a lot and I think I'll just have to get one for myself .
  11. Steve, Which aftermarket tires do you use. I recently picked up some of the AMT parts pack whitewall tire sets. and they are hollow. With the design of the old annuals simple wheels . Have you run into any fitment issues using this combination ?

From 1962s 300H, the fins were gone, as was the letter series' unique place in the Chrysler lineup; there was now a whole Chrysler 300 Sport Series (which included a four-door hardtop along with a two-door hardtop and convertible), along with the 300H. Externally there was little difference between the 300H and the 300 Sport Series (except for a "300H" badge on the driver's side of the trunk), and many of the 300H's features could be ordered as options on the other models. Under the hood of the 300H the cross ram engine became an option, and there was a return to the inline dual 4-barrel carb setup of the 300E as the base power plant. With a slight power boost and a 300 lb (140 kg) lighter body, the 300H was faster than the 300G, but the loss of exclusivity coupled with high prices made this the slowest-selling letter series year yet, with only 435 coupes and 135 convertibles sold.
  13. Agreed ,,,,I've done a couple late 50s annuals and the tires are hard as a rock. heat a bowl of water up and drop the tires in for few a few minutes,,works every time
  14. The newest ones I have are the 62's ( a Buick and a Bonneville.,,, ) Both are convertibles and both have the molded in lower A arms ). If that's what you wan to call them. Never went looking for the hardtop versions,,,so I got nuttin as far as differences
  15. So cool. I have the Johan version on the bench right now I am going with Tamiya TS23 to replicate Petty Blue and with a white interior
  16. Might not be my absolute favorite build . But it ranks pretty high because I REALLY like the way this one came out. Built it in under 24 hours
  17. When I do mine, I barely burnish it down much at all till AFTER its trimmed . Just enough to hold it in place is all you need. Once trimmed away have at it with Q tips, Kleenix, mild / soft paper towels .

  20. I have the current Lindberg kit as well as a few of the original 61 annuals ( both convertibles ) I'll snap off a few comparison pics of the 2 side by side later this weekend . But I'll be honest,,,, even though I am always on the hunt for old annuals. The Lindberg kit is nice enough I don't look for the original issue 61 hardtop
  21. It might not even be real. may just be a computer generated photo / mockup exercise. it might even be designed to steer from the rear wheels ?
