  1. No simple answer. But next time your at a swap meet . Look around . A LOT of grey hair old farts and not near as many young guns . In do time the hobby will die back considerably, when is any ones guess. But my gut tells me in the 30 years it'll die way off
  2. Buff it Once all coats are on. Ill usually wait a few hours before buffing mine
  3. Looking real good. And so did the Vikings btw. Mike Zimmer definitely has the defense hitting on all cylinders
  4. I went ahead and picked one of these up. I have to say ...im impressed with the overall body proportions. Glad to see the door scallops get subdued down some( the scallops on the 68-69 body were much to pronounced ) The grille is nice. Interior details look good. Im for one glad to see the body done without the door scoops
  5. Got any kind of a list ?
  6. IMO, a delay is ok. Of a few days . But IMO when I order something and I get a tracking number I expect that item to be shipped within a reasonable time frame. 4 to 6 weeks is NOT an acceptable time frame
  7. I REALLY want the boat ,, maybe even a few of them the rest,,,,,,,,,,meh. Think I'll pass
  8. Ive always been something of a gear head car guy. As early as i can remember to about age 8 or 9 maybe (would be about 1968 or so) One day while walking around in Sids Elsmere Drugs in Elsmere Ky . I had allowance money burning a hole in my pocket..... i spotted a model kit . I bought it,,,,, and have been hooked ever since. Sadly i dont remember the kit...but i think it was a plane kit. Once i started building cars...its pretty much the only thing I've built since
  9. Oh come one, triple green . that car is screaming for the deluxe hubcaps ( same as whats in the Revell 69 Dart kit ) OR a set of recall wheels out of the MPC 69 Barracuda kit. ( i have extras of each of you want / need them )
  10. unless MCW makes it.....i dont remember seeing in any spray can anywhere You could have it mixed locally. im lucky ......A jobber near me that can mix as small as a 2 ounce sample
  11. Steve You going to use the hubcaps like in the kit. Or something else

  13. I have the RMR D100 four door cab . I want a D500 series truck
  14. The only 64 Dodge that ran a straight axle that I'm aware of was Landys silver car ( it still exists today ) I'm not saying it didn't exist back then,,,Just this Is the first I've ever heard of it and I've never seen pictures of a Ramchargers car with a straight axle . Just for the record,,,this isn't a straight axle car. Its one of the 2% cars,,,,,its where the front suspension is moved forward ever so slightly
  15. He definitely has a client base with deep pockets, and if he can consistently get that kind of coin for his builds...I say more power to him
  16. Cant say I've ever seen a straight axle equipped Ramchargers team car
  17. Put some slicks on that bad boy and lets go racing. With a little bit of work they can be made into a very nice shelf piece
  18. Yep. Winchester grey. If i remember right its paint code GA4
  19. This is the problem with most of the early promo cars...they dont just warp.....they shrink. In my experience..fixing one is futile. IF .....you can straighten it. The warp comes back in time
  20. Meager....you call that meager? I call it stunning and WAAAAAAAY above most builders abilities
  21. Thanks fellas. Its gonna stay exactly as shown.....except maybe a little dusting. Not going to touch up or change anything
  22. Excellent,,,and I agree. this car gets a bad rap I'm not 100% sure it deserves. Once built it looks pretty good in the case. But I will say some Bare Metal Foil does wonders for it
  23. Wow. Color looks dead on. Decals for the gauge faces ?
  24. Agreed 100% And having seen one of these cars in person . I sure don't envy you making that chassis from scratch.
