  1. The 63 Fords are everywhere . so figure maybe $30 for the hardtop,,,if your lucky less for the vert with the broken windsheid frame the 62 Dodge if it has the uptop ,,,can be a good one mainly for the top. the car by itself is maybe $20-25. the top is worth easily $10-15 by itself edit, corrected comment on years of the Fords
  2. The 68 charger and 65 falcon are probably the best of the bunch. At least based on what i can see. Falcon somewhere in the $60 range Charger can pull $75 range pretty easily. Just as an example. I just bought a 63 Mercury hardtop. Maybe 4 months ago. Never painted $60 delivered .
  3. I know for a fact the 396 was in the 1969 pace cars. Back about 1979 , or maybe early 1980 . there was one parked by an old appt bldg in the small town my parents lived ( Walton Ky ) behind that bldg was this white 1969 camaro conv with this god awful ugly orange interior. And on the front fenders it had 396 badges. Being the gear head that I am ,,,,I just had to pop the hood to ck , . Sure enough it was in there . I treid for months to find out who owned it, finally gave up, the car disappeared sometime a few months later. No idea what happened to it
  4. WOW, I could maybe use a few of those
  5. I have a couple builtups of this one...but no unbuilts
  6. Isnt the hubley kit a multi-piece body ? or am I thinking of something else. There was a time when I was actually looking for one of them. NOW.,,,,,, Not so much. Ive come to realize I have more then enough to keep me busy for years to come
  7. I know Mopar / Johan was still using accetate for the 1963 promos. Not sure if Ford was or not
  8. Agreed. 1000% For me....price is irrelevant. As an example....I paid over $100 for a mint in box 1959 Edsel kit. Then built it. Tamiya...makes nothing that interests me. And doubt they ever will.
  9. No pictures ( I was driving) But saw a really nice little 1965 or 66 mustang convertible. Older couple oit for a cruise with the top down. Sounded like a 6 cyl when it went by
  10. For me personally, I think it has the be the revell Thunderbolt kits. No fuss or drama involved from start to finish.
  11. FM3 Panther Pink is not a very common color found on ANY B body mopar. extremely rare on a 1970 Coronet. I personally have only seen one or two.
  12. Interesting. I've no idea what that is. The oil pump is mounted below that area. Wonder if it's some kind of adapter
  13. Looking good so far,,,,,, except you have the oil filter / oil pump assy mounted wrong for a 426 hemi
  14. Probably more to do with don't fix it if its not broken mentality
  15. Gotta remember, lot of the tires back then were either 2 piece hard plastic. or molded in a hard rubber , both requiring a 2 piece wheel
  16. Hood for an A12 roadrunner has a pretty distinct bulge in the center forward of the scoop . Its not flat by any means And the best version Ive found so far is the one is/was made by Wendal Sowers in Tenn. But Ive not seen one listed in a while so odds are its no longer avail. I bought about a half dozen of them when He made them I had one of the Harts parts duster six pack hood,,,and any here can have it, I refuse to use it . I hope his roadrunner is better
  17. I'll admit. When first told of the color choices...I thought yuk. But wow. Now I gotta say its looking killer. Well done
  18. Nice. I've always that was one of the best looking cars of the period. Who makes the decals for this car ?
  19. Fc7 was a regular avail color option in the 1970 AND 1971 model years. Discontinued for 1972 though. But thre have been a few documented 1972 vehicles painted that color
  20. Tuned in
  21. Anyone know the measurements difference to make this work in a 1/25th scale MPC kit Sorry, I dont do 1/24th scale stuff and I have 3 of the MPC kits here to do , I already have the grille to convert 1 to a GTX
  22. RT interior is no different than non RT
  23. Agreed, Im guessing the next version will be nothing but a decal change.
  24. Im thinking I may just get 2 of these, I have SERIOUS doubts this is a one run and done kit, Next one is most likely a different decal sheet
