That's a pretty interesting configuration. I know Chrysler tried mechanical FI systems in 1958 , Chevrolet had it in 1957 , Think Cadillac ( or was it Pontiac ) tried it as well in the late 50s. Corvettes had it again what was it 1963 or 64 ? Wasn't aware anyone tried it again till late 70s - early 80s time frame.

I like it. good colors. ive got 2 of these,,, one as a keeper and one as trade material. This kit came with an uptop originally. Unfortunately, I only have one uptop
-
WOW. That was quick, and turned out really nice. especially the color. Love it

To delete pics as an example. What i got today. ...some from several years ago. Makes no sense to me to keep them Or items for trade material. Again why keep them here if said item is long long gone Especially pictures in threads that are several years old. Or multiple threads were same picture is posted. Ive got over 35 pages of pictures here........ just would be easier to delete them at my choice
-
Nope, I just went to several posts ive made and not one has the option to edit the post or delete photos
-
Once uploaded to this server / account. is there a way to delete photos? I'm getting tired rummaging thru multiple pictures here to find the one I need, as most of the ones I have here are in long dead threads and I would really like to just delete them

Then I'm out before I was in That was my max I was willing to go. And I would have built it at some point. the days of me buying shelf ornaments are over. Although I do have a few that will remain untouched , I don't have ANYWHERE near this kind of $$$$ in them -

The comment ' I have not done a piece by piece inventory ' may hold it back from top dollar . It would me. I would like to have one of these, ( actually would prefer a 65 ) But if it stays under $200, I may sneak in at the end ,,, might ,,,,, -

In case you want another detail. That little hump on the drivers side of the bell housing is the clutch rod linkage location. Black rubber boot with a sliver plated arm sticking out the center of said boot

The past few weeks I managed to pick up some parts for several old annuals, ( top boots, wheel covers and some re-chromed bumpers for several kits stashed away ) Also, I have a soft spot the early cars. So I just couldn't resist this one, a new in box Danbury Mint 1934 HISPANO SUIZA J12 ,especially for just $30

1966 muscle car promo-so bad it's good?
gtx6970 replied to Ridge Rider's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That was pretty corny, but really cool. ps, I noticed no Mopar cars there. Hmmmmmmm.? Although the only Mopar muscle car avail in 1966 would have been a Hemi car. and I have my doubts the 396 Chevelle would have come out on top then And yes, she would do just fine -
My 2cents. Your not trying to build replica stock. So all bets are off.....build it the way you like. My gut tells me its going to be killer either way

Tan COIL ? Never on a mopar. They're always black ( lettering color on said coil is usually a light green, but some have been found with yellow lettering) That said; Tan dist caps started showing up 1966, MAYBE ,,,,just MAYBE very late 1965. But by part number the tan cap arrived in 1966 Distributor itself is black body if dual point ignition system. bare aluminum body if single point system Dual point dist body shown Single point dist body with correct tan cap Correct ignition coil
