  1. same here. If he didn't act like an idiot. I mighty watch it more if I had the time.
  2. The vents are just under 2 inches thick top to bottom. Most of that sticks thru holes in the fender leaving only maybe an 1/8" or so above the fender. The inner pocket of the vent is actually below the surface of the fender, making the impression they are functional, ( they were never functional )
  3. I used to. Sold my National Dragster magazine collection earlier this year. Thinking about selling my vintage magazine collection as well. It covers a lot from early sixties to early seventies. I simply don't read them or refer to them for reference (thanks Google ) Its a verticle 4 drawer file cabinet..... that's pretty full.
  4. I sure wouldn't argue with either one of these
  5. Ok, I did some asking around with a couple guys I know that collect dealer promos. ( I used to collect Mopar promos ) Seems the beige/ white one is worth in the $25 to $35 range. the easiest one to find of the group Red is a little more in the $35 to $50 range. Seems the Dark blue will easily bring $150 and up ( much harder to find mint )
  6. Not sure value. But I recently sold a NICE 62 hardtop for $50 So I would think its worth at least that.
  7. Thats the way mine is. All stock except the tail lights . I'll get to it one day here soon, at least I hope so .
  8. Nice one. I've got a clean convertible for someday project. Just need to find stock tail.light lenses
  9. You know it's not nice to Photoshop real engines onto a model bench and call them model parts.
  10. in 1-25 scale it would be just a speck on the backside
  11. Always a clear lens with a amber bulb on the backside
  12. Thats the Wheel used in 70-71 - A bodies, 70-71 - E bodies and 71 up B bodies
  13. I just picked up a steering wheel from an early 70s Dodge B van kit that can can pass for the rim blow wheel pretty well. Need it for a Superbird build I have in process
  14. Cool picture
  15. I think I would use the Moebius 65 Plymouth for chassis / drive train update. it will even have the correct air cleaner and I think it even has the white wall tires in it
  16. Cool, and I can see it on the car lot now. Back in about 1976 ish or so. I bought a 1966 Pontiac Tempest. OHC 6 cyl auto. Gave a whopping $50 for it and drove it home. about 2 years later bought a so so shape 1969 Roadrunner 383 auto. Gave a whole $150 for it and drove it home. Those were the days my friend
  17. Not today. But end of last week mail man dropped of my latest. A really good looking 1963 Ford Galaxie convertible builtup. Paint is really nice / shiny dark brown color. That I think I may just leave it as is. Originally I just bought it to get the stock wheel covers for another one I have . All the original chrome is REALLY nice shape and reasonably shiny. But after looking it over once it arrived. I think I'll just add some bare metal foil to the body. Take the chrome pen to detail the interior and call it done and put it in the case. Interior was painted this fugly light cream / beige color. But its already been stripped and painted in a semi gloss black.
  18. Cool build. Mind if I ask...where the headers are from?
  19. Decal challenge is a huge understatement . I Got so discussed with mine......back in the box it went. Congrats on a good looking build . I gave up till another day.
  20. WOW.... just plain WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. It was early ( pre coffee ) and on my phone . But yea, me to
  22. As far as older songs . Little Old Lady from Pasedena works to. I'm not really a ' HOT ROD ' guy. More of a muscle car guy myself.
  23. Danny Haggar . I can't drive ....55
  24. Im not sure I would judge it based on these pics. I'll wait and pass judgement once the kit is in my hands. But , yea, I would have preferred a 440 six pack auto myself
