. I totally agree. Some of his work bordered on the unbelievable. You had to look hard to see that it was a model. If there's such a credential, I would say he was a Master Modeler

Terry, Harry was THE BIG DOG on this forum. We all have so much respect for his incredible builds. You"re lucky to have one of his builds.

I highly recommend this AB. It works great and is considerably cheaper than some of the other similarly styled ones. I got the grip too. Makes handling it easier.

It'll be a replica of one that my best friend had. It was his first new car and his favorite. He repeatedy kicked himself for selling it. I'm going to build it and give it to his son. His dad and I go back to childhood. His son, me and his dad did some good trail riding together in the early 80s.

In 1989, I got off dirt bikes and into karts (safer?) where I promptly crashed and broke my back. I won a few small autocross events in the southeast in my class and a couple of enduros in vintage racing. But I always considered myself a middle of the pack sort of guy and I quit beating myself up over not winning all the time. Enjoy the ride as much as the destination.

Like Casey said, a dehumidifier will work, that is, if your garage is finished in. Probably won't work if it's not. I spray in a room in my basement. My dehumidifier keeps it at about 50% humidity all the time.

Some folks use them and seem happy. Those really aren't booths though, just paint stations that remove the fumes. Truthfully, I can't see how someone could get a blemish free finish without dust getting all over it, but that's just me.

Yes, please, master builders, tell us how you do it. I'd love to get better at this. Just bought a new set of drill bits. That'll help, I hope.

I've never had that problem.

I use 91% isopropyl alcohol to strip lacquer paints.

If you do buy a Paasche H, understand that there are 3 different tips that it can use. I have all 3 but seem to use the #5 most of the time.

Paasche H airbrush and a Harbor Freight compressor to start.

I use the 5, opened from 1 to 1 1/2 turns.

I wouldn't waste my money on it. Looks just like the makeup A/B my wife got. Rip off.
