Rob Hall Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I suspect for 2018 we will see a mix of reissues, modified reissues, and new tools.
gtx6970 Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Is it just me, or have the major players gotten quite tight lipped on new releases ?
Luc Janssens Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I suspect for 2018 we will see a mix of reissues, modified reissues, and new tools. Cool, can't wait, can't wait!
Matt T. Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Revell ‘69 Charger 500, ‘68 Camaro SS, ‘57 Ranchero, ‘76 Ranchero. My guesses.
MrObsessive Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Revell ‘69 Charger 500, ‘68 Camaro SS, ‘57 Ranchero, ‘76 Ranchero. My guesses. I can actually see all four of those being feasible! As far as the Ranchero, Revell could go three ways with those. The '57, the '70, and the '76 you mentioned.
sfhess Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) I bet Revell will have something really cool that nobody will expect from them. Edited October 9, 2017 by sfhess

espo Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 How about a mid '50's Pontiac or Olds ?? '55 - '56 Merc could be kind of nice. Or a really nice '66 -'67 Chevy short bed ?
stavanzer Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Casey, I like your list. I'm in for a couple of Autocar trucks, if they were to happen.Maybe Round2 will even spring for some new or re-tooled parts for some of these kits. Oh well, it will be nice to have any of them on the list back. They'll at least get fresh decals and pad printed tires.
iBorg Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Instead of the MPC Cougar (good kit by the way), Dick Harrell Camaro......PLEASE
robo37 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 It would be nice since Moebius Models did hudsons and tried something different would be nice to see a 70-73 Fury either 2 door or 4 door in 1/25 scale Maybe Amt can some how retool the Mpc 71 roadrunner would be nice and the 74 super charger
Sport Suburban Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Revell ‘69 Charger 500, ‘68 Camaro SS, ‘57 Ranchero, ‘76 Ranchero. My guesses. I'm sure a Revell 69 Charger 500 will come soon. I'm almost done building one!
Mr. Metallic Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Is it just me, or have the major players gotten quite tight lipped on new releases ?Yeah, last few years Round2 and Revellogram have gotten away from announcing anything more than 6 months in advance. Ever since the RCHTA show went away, where they used to make an entire years worth of announcements. They also probably got tired of hearing the complaints from people when something was "late" Now they don't announce until something is well though development and tooling. While there are still occasional delays, it's nothing like it used to be
Snake45 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 A Mustang. A Matador. A Monza, A new Mazda. A Merc Montclair........Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica!
randyc Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 A Mustang. A Matador. A Monza, A new Mazda. A Merc Montclair........What do you want from life? I had to go check just to make sure someone made that reference.

Dave Van Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 I take it no one from the big 3 attended NNL Toledo??? Last I went in 2015 all were there with booths. Are we down to zero manufactures??We used to get a peak at the next year at NNL.......

It's right around the time they'd be announcing the 1Q 2018 stuff anyways.
