I don't believe I even have to answer this question. Do I ?   The above Cobra looks like the one Honey West drove on the show by the same name.

Like many of us, I have several much admired cars at the top of my list. The least expensive of them, the Lotus Europa, is presently in my garage.

But, if money was no object...

Oh yes. Modern hemi for performance, reliability, and gas mileage. Modern suspension fore and aft, power steering and brakes. Something I can drive every day.

And something like this for nice weather Sunday driving and rod runs.

The first car I fell in love with is still number one on the list, the 57 Chevy Nomad.
I prefer stock, like this:

But there is also many nice customs of them and in my eyes the best one is the Sam Hollingsworth car. And I think Revell captured it at its best on their boxart:

I know that the boxart car features the wrong wheels because Revell did not have matching wirewheels an therefore altered the picture with the chromereverese wheels but in my eyes that is the best way for it.
I do like the wirewheels on it aswell, just prefer the chromereverse:

i've always had a yen for the Lamborghini Espada.  Wild looks combined with some concession to practicality

A close second would be an old Lincoln or Riviera upgraded with modern mechanicals.

But i would have to say, my ultimate dream car would be, an actual dream car;

Take a rendering of one of those finned bubble top visions of future past to a specialty builder and say, "Build this"

On a bit of a tangent, the Hemmings Blog has an item on someone who is doing just that with their dream car.

Wow, this is a can of worms it's hard to put the monkeys back in. The AC Cobra is high on the list although I'd almost rather have a kit car so I can drive the wheels off it without worrying about wrecking it. Also high on the list is a 68 Shelby GT500, maybe a clone with some modern suspension goodies and wheels. For my attainable dream car it's a Lexus SC300, I had one but had to get rid of it but hopefully it won't be the last one.

Yeah, any Porsche sports car. I had a 356A at one time. Now I hate anyone that drives a Porsche (because I don't have one).

I'll go along with that!

The '60 would do as well!

But, call me weird, but this is the one that I would probably want if it was the one & only that I could have.

My dream car is a Emberglow 1966 Ford Fairlane. It was my first car. I would love to have another one. I have a 1:1 1954 Mercury Sun Valley and a 1986 Ford F-150 project truck. So probably will never happen. Maybe if I hit the Lottery:D
