OldTrucker Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 The Revell kit with the Petty decals in the box but can't really be built as a Nascar! Kieth Marks decals were used on the body. The body was painted with lacquer that came from a guy that had some touch up paint in a spray can. Had just enough to do the job then dropped the nose on the floor and got full of dirt. So had to use Model master paint for the nose as you can see the difference.
misternemo Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Beautiful bird.wouldn't worry about the paint mismatch,the nose and the wing on the real car were painted in lacquer,and the body in enamel. they usually did not match exactly.
