Pulled it out and started cutting after staring at it between calls towards the end of my workday. I did a similar mod to a 57 and called it le frog

On the Mercury side, it's called Madras Blue poly. I had my local napa mix up a can for me. White seats and door panels would really make a nice contrast for that Shelby
Joe Handley
Got this painted in the main color yesterday and in the matte clear today, here’s how it looked before the clear was put on, I still need to do some of the detail paint and bed lining on the bottom and inside of the tub, grill, and tail gate. Planning on pulling the rolling stock off and separating the wheels and tires then doing the matte clear over the chrome on the wheels before gluing the tires to them too. Not sure the best way to paint Willy’s face inside the helmet, so any tips would be appreciated! Quick edit, it’s even closer now 😎 Edited June 1, 2021 by Joe Handley

PatW
Having had my new LEGO Ducati delivered last week, I thought I'd start building it. Here we have the frame, engine, gear box, rear swinging arm, with mono-shock suspension and rear hub awaiting the rear brake disc. It's good to realise when turning the parts connected the two white rubber bands the V-four cylinder engine and pistons pop up and down in the cylinders. About 100+ parts already used. PatW
Here we are again! Just coming to the end and... just two of the last pieces the nosecone are missing from the kit, so order them from LEGO and await their delivery. The interesting bit was clipping the 35 piece chain together! All the suspension works as does the steering and engine movement.

PatW
Finished the LEGO Ducati Panigale V4R The two pieces that were missing from the kit arrived yesterday, so I finished it today around the front fairing and added the Ducati 'stickers' that are sticky and need to be placed right first time. PatW
I started a Tamiya Ducati 888, whilst waiting for the LEGO spares for the other build up. Rear wheel assembly.. One of the exhausts that have three carbon fibre decals on each plus chrome pipes (Molotow pen) and a clear orange on top.

Joe Handley
Got the Wild Willy 4x4 build closer to completion, just need to paint the Jerry Can and Willy (driver figure) himself and it will be done, initial build wise, there will be future mods for the chassis to come, but nothing bonkers. Paul Payne
Yesterday I continued disassembling an Ertl 1946 Dodge power wagon diecast. Cut off the big door hinges, hope to install the hemi from the AMT 1953 Studebaker. Plan on a lot of weathering.
