Bucky Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 How about the '67 Ford Fairlane 4dr. sedan from Dragnet1967?

I think it it a Johnny Lightning. I need to blackwash the grille and put a little blue in the grille ornament.

At least the 70 1/2 would be a lot closer than this feeble attempt of it in 1981 from Revell all it shares is the "CHiP's" connection and the fact that it is a gold Trans Am! ? If you couldn't tell also, even though I realize the whole licensing aspect between the Firebird and Trans Am names, I have loved these cars since I was a kid and have owned two of them, both a Firebird and a Trans Am GTA, so I call them by what they are properly called despite model company licensing. I have even bought many older kits with good decals that may have reissues with much better and expanded decals, such as the recent 70 1/2 from Revell just so I have the proper Trans Am markings to use with the newer kit that does not have them. Ponch's car was originally the bad guys car in Corvette Summer

Richard Bartrop Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Speaking of Bewitched, this one has not only made an appearance in that show, but in Star Trek and Batman as well.
Bucky Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Milburn Drysdale on the Beverly Hillbillies drove several years of Imperial cars. Two I can think of that didn't make it into a 1/25 scale kit box are the '67 and '68 year models. There are promos around, but no kits.

64Comet404 Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I would like to see models of many of the aforementioned cars, but I can only think of two vehicles that haven't been mentioned (and they're not even from North American TV shows!) 1. Simon Templar's Volvo P1800S from The Saint. A great looking car, and one I am surprised has not been molded by a reputable manufacturer (Palmer does not count!) 2. The Mini Moke taxis from The Prisoner. While we're at it, I also want the Lotus Elan wheels so an accurate replica of Number 6's Lotus can be built.
