Any pics of the prototype built yet?

I haven't seen any.  Round 2 has been pretty good lately about posting these types of images - ergo the Chevy II wagon and Jenkins kit images seen recently - so I wouldn't be surprised to see them do the same when the time comes with this one....TIM

I think it's great that they are trying to improve or correct the tooling. This can be expensive but it also shows their commitment to getting it right. Less for some to complain about also.

Is there any drag parts ? or is it completely stock ?

I think there are drag parts, including the crazy dual Judson blown motor and possibly the full tonneau

Sneak Peek! Coming early next year. Sorry for the delay guys, we wanted to try and make this release as nice as possible while still using what remained of the original annual mold's parts.

The original kit did not include a raised convertible top.  Had one been added, it would likely be included in the test shot photos.

It's just like the original annual; stock/custom/racing.  The racing version is a Bonneville streamliner-looking setup.

Can't wait to see your test shot/promotional build-up. If it looks half as good as the Nova SW, it'll fly off the shelves, too.

On the last test shots, one of the original 1964 annual kit tool parts didn’t quite meet their expectations when fit into the newly tooled body.

Hood fit issue?

I'd like to see Round2 add the unique 442 emblems and dual-snorkel air cleaner,  and a rear stabilizer bar as extra pieces.  We can only wish, so hopefully the resin casters are working on them!

I was told the dual Judsons are included.  Don't know about the tonneau cover.  TIM

Round 2 apparently saw your request, Mike, to see a picture, and posted this at their blog around 9am or so this morning....TIM

It's all in there, plus a few other enhancements that weren't present in the original annual

Hope they leave the Funny Car parts in it

If you look at the hanger shot, you'll see that 80% of the funny car parts are missing, namely the entire funny car chassis/engine/interior.

Those parts were also used under the '65 Chevelle and Unreal Edsel funnies, and are MIA

I haven't seen a lot from Round 2 that has really interested me in recent years, but this one will be a definite must have when it is released.

It is also a very good sign of possible things to come!

A huge thumbs up to Round 2 for taking the risk to re-issue some of these terrific old long lost annuals!!
