This '59 started in decent shape but still needed a fair amount of TLC.  I used Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green with a Folk Art Hunter Green craft acrylic roof, cleared with Tamiya clear.   I'm happy with the build, although there are a number of things I'd like to do over differently ? .   For my display case it's great though.

Neat model! Back in 1978 my cousin had a green and white Belvedere with a flathead six. It was a cool car that had been “restored “ until you took a better look! Rusty mess under those freshly painted panels!

I've got one of those X-EL promos lying around somewhere in that EXACT color! Excellent save and those are getting harder and harder to come by now in decent shape. At least you have the interior...........mine is the "empty" one with no interior per the original promos.
